" Hey, Nevada can you hear me?," Landon had asked.

I looked down on the bed and Landon was holding my hand.

" Yeah. What happened? How long was I out for?" I was confused, nervous, anxious, and basically every emotion someone I could feel rolled into one.

I looked over at Connor and I could see that there was something wrong.

" You were out ... for 3 weeks," Connor had said slowly with a frown on his face, trying not to cry.

" 3 weeks! What the hell happened?" I said with slight amusement in my voice.

" People from the Council found you and -," Landon started to say, troubled.

" One of their men turned you," Connor stated, about to cry.

I sat up, moved my hand out of Landons', and started to walk out the door.

" Just give me some time to wrap my head around this please. I-I-I just need some time to comprehend this."

I walked out of Landon's room and towards my room. Everything was so much clearer; my sight, hearing, and even touch was different. I opened my bedroom door and walked over to my bed and layed down. How could I be a vampire? I can't be one. What would my dad say if he saw me now. Honestly he probably wouldn't even care at this point. I haven't seen or even heard from him in days let alone months. I know he wouldn't care either way.

I walked into my closet and looked into the mirror, I didn't like the person I saw. This person was horrifying. This person I saw was very sexy though, she had the curves I have been trying to obtain for years, her hair was shiny and silky smooth. This person I saw was very beautiful and defined, but I knew it wasn't me. But, I guess I just have to accept that this is the new me.

I attempted to stay in my room for a week but apparently for Landon and Connor, 4 days was too long.

" You eventually have to come out of your room. Connor and I are worried about you Nevada. I know you're struggling with the fact that you are what you are but we can help you. Just let me in please," Landon said trying to coax me out of my room.

The boys haven't seen me yet. My body was doing continuous changes while I was in lockdown. I look like a completely different person than what I did 4 days ago. My hair grew longer and darker, my eyes turned to a brighter blue, and I had a different complexion than I did before.

" I'll be down in a minute," I said back to Landon.

I went into my closet and picked out an outfit. I pulled out my black heels with my fishnets, skater skirt, and off the shoulder short sleeved bodysuit. I took a good look in the mirror and started to like what I saw. I still hated the fact that I was a vampire but I had to live with it. I am beautiful. I walked out of my room, through the long hallway, and down the stairs. The boys jumped up immediately and waited at the bottom of the stairs.

" Look at that you're alive," Connor laughingly said trying to brighten the mood. Landon hit him in the shoulder and I laughed.

" How are you feeling Nevada?" Landon asked more worried about me than ever.

" I'm good,I guess. It is what it is. You're right I can't stay in my room forever," I said to Landon with a smile on my face.

I could sense a change in Landons' tone. It was almost like he was love struck.
