The muscular man left the room but the door did not seal up behind him. Waverly slowly got off the bed and shuffled back to keep a great distance between herself and the boy. Her eyes clocked surreptitiously to the open doorway and back to him.

"You cannot escape." He said with a smug look. "Even if you tried."

Waverly stared him full in the face in utmost silence, trying not to fall since her legs were still weak. He loudly snapped his fingers and a guard entered the room.

"Ten minutes and you open it." He muttered.

"Yes, young master." The guard nodded. He was two times the boy's size even when he bowed.

As soon as he left, the rock sealed up of its own accord. Waverly thought some kind of magic worked the rocks for them to be able to open and shut even without voice command. If that was the case, escaping would prove highly difficult.

The young boy turned to her again, staring at the length of her body with a look of lustful satisfaction. "You are truly beautiful."

"You take one step close to me." Waverly began in a dangerously calm tone. "And I will throw your severed head through that window."

The boy chuckled and took a lot of steps forward. "And how do you intend to do that?"

Waverly was very tempted to unleash Calaire but she needed the door open a second time and could not achieve that if the boy was dead. "Trust me you don't want to find out."

He continued to proceed but Waverly stood firmly and did not move, glaring at him with fiery eyes.

"It is much easier to comply." He cooed. "It will not hurt, I promise."

He smiled and reached out to grab her waist and she threw a punch that instantly broke his nose. He staggered backwards with a loud yelp, clutched his face and paled with shock when he removed his hand and saw the blood in it. Waverly guessed he was not used to seeing himself bleed.

"The next time I'll make sure to break something else that cannot be fixed." She snarled.

"My father will have your head for this." He cried in anger.

"Not if I have his first." She replied.

The boy paused to look at her in curiosity, scanning her face thoroughly. "I have never heard of Humans being so tough, especially not one so young."

"There is a first time for everything." She retorted. An urge to sit down as a result of the weakness in her bones made her lurch forward but she pushed herself up again. The boy appeared to be confused for a brief moment then he pulled out a piece of clean cloth from inside his shirt and wiped the blood off his nose.

"Of course. The magic has not yet worn off you entirely, has it?" He asked, smirking. His dark hair was held back in a small pigtail; similar to the way Waverly held hers.

"My father paid a fortune to get you for me and we were told that you are quite extraordinary. I can see that they were right and we did not lose all that gold for nothing."

"You paid for me?" Waverly asked in bewilderment.

"One hundred and twenty gold coins." The boy clarified with pride. He threw the bloody cloth to the ground and took a step closer.

"I will have you, whether you like it or not."

Waverly tilted her head sideways. "Why don't you try?" She slowly lifted both arms. "I promise I will not punch this time."

"Are you toying with me?" The boy asked, clearly offended, but his eyes betrayed him. Waverly saw them fill up with anticipation.

"Unless you're implying that you have no ounce of strength in you." She continued, ignoring his question.
