Luna gently rocked Bruce as the cast and credits played.

"The movie ended, Bruce." Luna said.
Bruce's eyes fluttered.

"Lets go." She helped him up and out the trunk.
Light rain dropped onto the streets.

"Let's get going, and fast— friends!" Bruce's Dad said.
Everyone sat down.

Finney chattered on how the movie was nice.
Robin smiled and nodded, as if he was listening.

Bruce's Dad started the engine.
Luna crossed her legs and looked out the window; While Bruce stared at her, admiring.

He admired every part of her.
Her eyelashes, her nose, her jawline.

She stared at the light rain, falling and dripping gently.

Vance's head was leaned against the back of his seat, his brows furrowed and his eyes closed.

It was clear he was tired.
And hated being here.

"Thanks for coming, you two!" Bruce's dad smiled, stopping and parking in front of their house.

"Thanks for having us." Luna grinned, slamming the door.

Vance immediately dashed to Lunas room and sunk in her bed.

"You know, if you cleaned your room you wouldn't leech off mine so much." Luna chuckled.

"No." Vance simply answered.
"Alright.." Luna sat next to Vance, patting his head.

"What's going on with you and Bruce?" Vance turned.
"Hm?"

"Don't act stupid, he was all on you today."

"Come on." Luna grunted

"It's obvious he likes you. Do you like him too?" Vance asked.

"Just friends, Vance."

"Mhm." Vance shrugged, laying down and sleeping.

Luna wasn't tired. She walked around the empty house.

Dad hasn't come back in days.

I don't know if Vance cares.
But it's just lonely.

She stared at the broken beer bottles.
The pieces of glass scattered throughout the carpet.

She didn't have a vacuum.
She continued to pick up the shards of glass—big or small, with her fingers.

She repeatedly cut her fingers.
Tears filled her eyes as the glass stabbed and slid through her finger skin, stains of blood rubbing onto it.

She finished picking them up and looked at her fingers.

Exactly 2 cuts on her thumb. One on her pointer. 3 on her middle. 2 on her ring. None on her pinky.

On the other hand, two cuts on the thumb, three cuts on her pointer, a small stab on her middle and none anywhere else.

She got a cut on her wrist on accident.
It slid from the left to the right.

She picked up the bigger beer bottles and placed them in the bin.

She wiped the couches and tables.
She organized the living room and kitchen.

She stared at the house.
It was actually clean.

It looked like when they moved in, when Dad could control himself.

She sat down on the couch for a few minutes, until she saw Vance slowly peek out the door.

She smiled.
"Hi." She muttered.

He slowly walked to the living room and saw how clean it was.
He saw Lunas fingers.

"Luna.."

"Don't worry about it." Luna said, glancing at the cuts and looking back

"Do you like Bruce?" Vance blurted.
"That's so random." Luna said

"Do you have a crush on him. Answer."

"He's a good friend.." Luna muttered
"My god, do you like him or not!"

Luna furrowed her brows.
"Why are you so desperate to know?"

"I don't know I just want to know, okay? Just please, tell me!" Vance grunted.

"No! I don't like him that much!" Luna said.

"Are you sure."

"Yes?" Luna said.

Vance sighed, walking back to Lunas room.
"What's his problem.." Luna muttered, walking over to the first aid kit.

She bandaged her fingers, while walking to her room.

"Why do you hate Bruce so much?" She leaned over to her door frame.

"My god. He's just made you so much nicer." Vance said.

"What?"

"Come on! You used to shove people, yell at them— you were always invested in fights! Now you're just some loner who smiles a bunch and reads! What the fuck is up with that?!"

"I thought you hated being aggressive? Sorry I improved myself and you couldn't!" Luna yelled, Vance paused.

"..what?" Vance muttered.
Luna realized what she said.
"I'm sorry Vance. I-"

"Shut the fuck up!" Vance yelled.

"You always do something without thinking, and then once you realize you always apologize! And I always let it go!" Vance started shouting.

"Maybe you're soft now, but some of your outbursts did nothing but make our lives worse."

"Maybe that's the reason Dad hasn't come back. Cause he can't deal with your shit. Sure I get in fights but I deal with the consequences unlike you!" Vance continued to yell, his voice breaking each sentence.

"You've always thought you were the best. You always changed personalities, you're unlikable to me now!

Everything you've done has ruined your perspective to me each and every day and you're saying you've improved? That's bullshit!

I can't believe Bruce even talks to such an asshole like you!" Vance screamed before shoving Luna and storming to his room.

Luna couldn't process anything really. All she could do was cry.

She broke in tears, she couldn't control it, she couldn't see it coming.

She sat down on her bed and processed everything he said, questioning if he meant it.

She wiped her tears with her arm, sniffing until she had no tears left.
