Here's some info about the story real quick so you don't get confused:
A white dwarf is a star, kind of like the Sun.
Also, this story takes place in the degenerate era of the universe.

(Y/N's POV)
You walking through the dark and empty place that was the universe. Ever since the stars died out, there was almost no light. You were separated from the planets and the Sun of the Solar System. You didn't even know if they were alive. You couldn't help but think about your friends and family on Earth...were they okay? Were they still alive? You were worried but, you knew that just standing here worrying wasn't going to do any good. So you continued walking, hoping to at least see a familiar looking asteroid or something.

After what felt like hours, you finally see a bright white light coming from something (or someone hehehe). You quickly walk over, almost running, out of excitement. Maybe it's Sun! There is a big piece of rock floating around and you had a sudden and mysterious feeling that you should go behind it before you confront the thing. You go behind the rock and look around it to find that the thing isn't Sun at all. This figure looked very similar to Sun though... and they seemed to be a girl. She had a white head with a brighter shade of white color for her flames that were over her head.

She was sitting down, and from what you could see, was also examining a picture. You were too far to see though. You were debating whether you should go up to talk to her. But, again being the clumsy person you were, you somehow slipped and fell with a startled gasp. You made a lot of noise, probably alerting the person that you were there. You heard slow footsteps walking towards you until she appeared to be standing over you. You both just stared at each other for so long that you assumed that you guys were having a staring contest.

Finally deciding to break the silence you said, "Well...this is awkward. Heh" while smiling like an idiot. She blinked, seemingly surprised by the sudden conversation. Then, she held out her hand for you to take. You grabbed it, relieved that she had reacted so well. She pulled you up until you were both on your feet. Although, she didn't let go and she had a strange look in her eyes. Deciding you didn't want to make her mad, you coughed, politely signaling that you want her to let go. She at first seemed to miss the hint but she suddenly let go. "Sorry." she apologized. There was an awkward silence for a while before you burst out, "uh my name's Y/N." you introduced yourself "Oh...I just go by White Dwarf..." she replied quietly.

"White Dwarf? Isn't that another type of star?" you questioned. "That's an...short version of it but yes." You couldn't help but feel surprised. "Wow. You look awesome!" you grinned. She immediately looked flustered at the compliment. "R-really. You think so?" She blushed a little. "Yeah!" you continued to grin, trying to be as friendly as possible so that she would trust you. "Wow. Thanks." she smiled shyly. "No problem!" "So...what's a human like yourself doing out here?" she asked, looking genuinely curious. "Oh! Well, it's a long story but I somehow managed to travel to space from my planet, Earth, and I started to hang out with the planets but then suddenly all the stars died out and I got separated from them and... here we are." you explained. "Oh. Well..." White Dwarf started, looking shy as she spoke. "You can...join me. I've only ever been on my own and I would love to have some company to travel with!" she said eagerly. "Really? That would be great-" you started off but then cut yourself off, realizing that you still had to look for the others, you had to make sure everyone was safe. "Oh wait...I'm sorry but...I want to continue looking for my friends. I have to make sure they are safe. And I have others on my planet that I need to make sure are alright too."

White Dwarf looked surprised and then you could see disappointment...and another expression that you couldn't quite make out. "Oh..." You felt bad so you quickly said "But! I can come back and visit you again after!" you said, trying to sound positive. She tried to smile "okay...I understand. I look forward to when we can see each other again then." You nodded enthusiastically and waved goodbye "well, nice meeting you!" You turned away from her and began to walk away when you suddenly felt something hit you hard at the back of the head. You fell to the ground, slowly becoming unconscious. You could see White Dwarf walking over and standing over you, a crazy lovesick look in her eyes. "~Oh? Why do you look so surprised? Did you really think I would let you go that easily? Us meeting here...it was destiny! We were made for each other...we were made to be together! Nobody else will mater, just you and I. You can forget about all those other people, we will just have each other! And now...we'll stay together... F O R E V E R.~" she said that last part insanely. You tried to get your body to move but it wouldn't budge. Your vision faded to black and the last thing you heard before you became unconscious was her voice whispering in your ear. "~You're my one and only.~"
