HYUNJIN held your hand as you guys walked through the gently lit park. the both of you smiled in content, finally happy that all the weight of secrets & feelings had been lifted off of your shoulders.
HYUNJIN "you look beautiful by the way"
the blonde spoke up as he looked down at you fondly. he pressed a gentle kiss to your temple, a smile on his face as he pulled back.
HYUNJIN "i know i've said it already but.. you really do"
you couldn't help your face heating up from his none stop compliments. letting go of his hand to cover your face as you laughed.
"thank you jinnie"
you spoke once your laughter died down, settling for a smile instead.
the two of you sat down on a near by bench. hyunjin's hand never left yours as you rested your head on his shoulder.
HYUNJIN "i did want to ask you something though?"
the fact that he sounded unsure made you laugh.
"what? you wanna ask me to be your partner?"
you snorted, covering your mouth. though when you didn't hear a response from the blonde above you, you opened your eyes and moved away to look at him.
his eyes were wide and his mouth slightly agape, as if you took the words right out of his mouth: you literally did.
"oh my god?! you so were gonna ask me that!"
HYUNJIN "shut up??"
you started giggling once more as he started getting flustered. you cupped his cheek, both of you focusing on the other.
"i'd love to be your partner, jinnie. if you'd have me?"
hyunjin smiled widely, closing the gap between the both of you. his lips pressed against yours in a soft kiss before he abruptly pulled away.
HYUNJIN "of course."
