A Journey Into Heaven

Suspended in a dream,

Weightless, it would seem,

I travel on this journey

Like a leaf upon a stream.

I transcend into awareness,

To a heavenly domain.

To be held there, forever. . .

Is an honour to remain.

The rush comes and passes

But yet returns in waves.

I yield to its power.

As it rushes through my veins.

Removing all impurites,

Clear and flowing free;

This power which I feel,

Passing through me.

As molecules collide,

My resistance does abide.

The particles annihilate,

And I explode inside.

Matter is altered.

Every element plays its part;

A gallery of sisters,

A galaxy of art.

For wherever I go,

I intend on no return.

The cosmos is my highway

And its teachings I will learn.

Such is the privelige

Of being on this quest;

My journey beats forever,

And its heart will never rest.

A familiar face accepts me,

A greeting smile awaits.

I feel so much at home,

As I pass between these gates.

At last! I feel reborn.

Redeemed, I am anew.

Never to return to old,

My course holds firm and true.

The distance is my future,

And my past has passed me by.

Onward I continue,

Forever, I will fly.
