They made a complete musical masterpiece into the trash that was sung at the Oscar's. They HAD Adassa there, and if they were able to get Rhenzy to sing his part for American Idol, why couldn't the Oscar's do that? MeganTheeStalion's solo wasn't even half as good as the REAL thing. They had all the actors!
However, I am surprised that the ORIGINAL didn't get nominated, but Dos Orugitas did. Dos Orugitas is an ok song, but NONE of the cast is involved in it except Mirabel and Abuela.
