Carpe Diem.

We all need a place to hide,

When life makes us ill like a fever,

-A release mechanism,

For when there is no button,

Nor lever.

-A comforting reminder of perspective,

When there is no companion either,

-And you need a place to recover,

To take a little breather.

We all need a process,

Because stagnation wastes our time,

That doesn't mean it has to be good or bad,

Even though we say we're 'fine'.

We crave for movement in our lives,

So that we can see all sides -

Of our problems, (may they be big or small),

Problems they remain,

And we must deal with them all.

Just because our world stopped turning,

Doesn't mean we lack the 'yearning'...

It doesn't mean there's no more learning,

That sunrise will never be returning..

I lose count of the nights I have crumbled and cried,

Of the countless times that I have tried..

But there's hope and strength and worth inside,

No more should you fear that you have to hide,

It comes and goes, I'm sure you have learned,

Great rewards from these efforts are hard earned,

The more pain we feel the more of life we have learned,

Templates are cast, brands are burned...

Don't worry if time slips you by like a trance;

This 'time'.. at which you constantly glance,

You will not move forward if you don't take the chance...

When it presents itself to you at last.
