it turns out bertha is a car, and as we pile in i try to sit next to aris but he seems to not want to sit next to me. i don't understand why though, because i didn't think he had feelings for me. did he have feelings for me? i realise i am getting a bit off track, and that even if he did there was no chance now.
it doesn't take long until we get to where we were going. a mountain. we all get out of the car, and get ready to attack. this is all stopped when a girl with a face covering stands in front of us, pointing a gun at us. shit. she makes us all stand up.
"aris?" she says, like she didn't believe it. what was going on? she pulls down her covering.
"harriet!" aris shouts, running over to her and hugging her. ouch. maybe i did have feelings for him. another girl comes over and hugs him. this girl looks oddly familiar. i look over at newt in disbelief.
"sonya?" i say, nervously. she stared at me for a few moments, before a wide smile spread across her face.
"Y/N!" she says hugging me instantly. she then sees newt and pulls him over for a hug too.
"what the hell is going on?" thomas asks.
"we were in the maze together" aris replies. "im assuming they are siblings?" aris guesses.
