"Just keep your distance, that'll help." I told Baekhyun when we got out of his car.

"Who made you the boss?" He said.

I huffed, "I'll be over there," I pointed at the area where Tiffany and Jessica is.

"You showed up." Tiffany said before hugging me, followed by Jessica.

"Wouldn't want to be a dead meat." I said.

"So, where's Kai?" Tiffany asked.

"Uhm, he's not with me." I said.

"Well then, you're alone?"

"Not exactly, but yeah. Kinda."

Tiffany and Jessica looked at me in a 'what-the-heck-are-you-saying' way.

"Oh alright I get it now." Jessica smiled.

"Get what?" Tiffany asked, looking at where Jessica is looking at.

"Oh, Baekhyun." Tiffany said with a smile.

"Glad you could make it," She said. Everyone's expression became tensed, as well as Jessica.

"Didn't really wanted to come," Baekhyun said, placing a protective hand on my back. What the heck?

"Always the protective one, I see." Tiffany raised her eyebrow.

"Well, enjoy the party." Tiffany said, handing us red cups of drinks before disappearing into the crowd.

When Tiffany walked away, everyone minded their own business. I looked up at Baekhyun who has his eyebrows furrowed and looking straight at the crowd, maybe he noticed Im looking at him so he looked at me too.

"What?" He snapped.

I removed his arms on my back and walked away. What ever he and Tiffany has, I don't care so he shouldn't bring me into it.

Walking aimlessly in this huge house, I ended up in the backyard. It's not practically empty, but it's quiet. The kind of place I would enjoy. I'm not really into all of these loud music, thick crowd, talking to unknown people, that's just not me. I prefer sitting alone in a quiet room. Besides, I wouldn't fit in in this type of crowd. I envy Tiffany for being so outgoing, and really, drop dead gorgeous. As well as Jessica.

I sat beside the pool, because water is relaxing.

Darn it.

Why do I have to remember the day Baekhyun saved me?

And why do I feel so bothered, like I feel like I should--

"Hey." A guy sat beside me.

"Uhm, hi?" I said awkwardly.

"Why are you here all alone? Baekhyun usually doesn't leave his girlfriend alone."

"Girlfriend? Oh no, don't get it wrong. We're not in a relationship," I said.

"Really?" He said, furrowing his eyebrows as if he's thinking about something "That's weird."

"Why? What's weird?" I asked.

"Baekhyun doesn't let anyone inside his car aside from his girlfriend, or anyone very special." He said.

But Baekhyun drives me to my apartment whenever I go home for almost a week now.

"How'd you know about that?" I asked again.

"Everybody knows about that, it's just a thing we automatically know."

Does that even makes sense?

"Well, I'm not his girlfriend. He was going here so I asked him for a ride. He's just kind to let me."
