I couldn't even tell you what day it is or how long I've been in this room staring at the same 4 walls just hoping and praying for Riley's recovery
Patrick was walking now with his crutches and has been discharged so yesterday we went back to his house to get him changed and for me to finally have a shower and get some clean clothes on myself

I informed Mum and Piper about everything that's gone on and I've tried telling Riley's mum and Emily but I haven't been able to find any of their accounts but I have asked Patrick to tell them and I think they might be coming today
The twins are still doing well and are healthy which is a wave of relief, Riley's having scans every other day just to check up on them

There's a slight knock on the door gaining the attention of Patrick and I and through the window we see the familiar blondes stood on the other side
I stand up and grab the door letting Patrick rest and once the door is open they both barge in and head straight to Riley

No hellos.. no nothing..

I turn to look at Patrick who just shrugs his shoulders before turning his attention over to the girls
"Uh hello guys" I say
"You should of told us sooner James" Emily snaps with her mum nodding in agreement
"I tried but I couldn't find you on anything so once Patrick was better I got him to contact you" I sternly reply

"We should of known straight away! Not weeks after it fucking happened" Riley's mum spits
"He tried too but it isn't his fault you both have him blocked" Patrick snarls back
"Ugh the pair of you are as bad as one another, Riley would be so much better if you left her alone James" Riley's mum snarls again glaring at me

"Actually James has been the one by Riley's side since this happened, Riley and James have both been really fucking good lately! So don't come in here with guns blazing trying to be the dogs bollocks" Patrick sternly says
"In that case you wouldn't like it if Riley was pregnant then" I chuckle watching both of them lost for words
"Sorry what?" Emily stutters
"We're having twins they're due in may" I smirk

"Riley wouldn't ever give you children" Emily replies
"Just wait and see, Riley's die for a scan in the next hour" I say "they've been doing them every other day to make sure they're doing okay and then after that I want you both to leave, if you can't be civil and expect what's happened then you shouldn't be here" I continue

"You can't do that" Riley's mum sighs "She's my daughter" she continues
"Riley might be your daughter but she doesn't deserve to be surrounded by people who don't approve of her life choices and she doesn't need people shouting around her either" I explain

My phone goes off so I check it to see that Patrick has messaged me, I unlock my phone to read it
Patrick~ you handled that really well, let's hope they either fuck off and get off their high horse
I chuckle lightly before sending a reply
James~ oh one can only hope
Causing Patrick to laugh as well which only gains some odd stares from Emily and her mum but we couldn't care less

"Hey everyone- oh I don't think we've met I'm Jonah I'm the doctor looking after Patrick and Riley, we've come to do a check up on the twins" Jonah explains
"Hi I'm Emily, Riley's sister and this is our mum" Emily softly says with a smile

We stand out the way for the nurse to check on the twins and patiently wait for her to tell us
"Both babies look well and healthy still which is great news" she explains to us
"Does that mean Riley will recover" I timidly ask
"I can't say for certain but the fact that both twins are still growing and are still healthy is a really good sign" she replies

That's all I needed to hear, her giving us that bit of hope

I look over at Emily and her mum and see that both of their faces have changed and they both look like they softened to the idea
I just hope that if they chose to stay they don't cause unnecessary drama cuz that's the last thing we need especially when Riley needs us all to get along
