Empty Shell

Must have been in the shadow of the abyss

Where a huge black hole had swallowed her whole

Left with nothing but a shell with air as her treasure

In this little world is her little old self

In deed she is bruised, hungry and dying

For no one would take her in

And no one wants to offer her a shelter to call her home

Who would invite her in?

A girl drowning in an irreparable mess

A heart, a soul, and broken bones shattered on the floor

No one would dare to pick up even a few pieces of her

No one truly cares for a girl 

A girl who has given up everything for a treasured reason

She who was left in the dark to be lost and forgotten

Her heart's wide open and blood flows smoothly from her wounds

Almost drained, her soul prepares to depart soon

She cries and screams in the silence of her body

She crawls and pleads for her soul to be guided as it embarks

But this world defied her with kindness and affection

Because no one truly cares for a broken girl along with her broken dreams
