Lilah's POV:
it has been two days since my orb magic was taken by the lotus I was still unconscious from losing my powers. as I come to I see my parents and Luna sitting beside my bed. Luna was lying right next to me. I groan as my eyelids start to open
"Lilah..." Luna says
"uh...wh..what happened...wh.where am I?" I say weekly as I come to, my parents give me a comforting hug
"thank goodness you're alright." mom said
"I'm alright now but I do feel a little weak from losing my orb magic. plus since I have orb magic but I'm also a tri-ling it affected me greater than I expected it to." I say
"don't you ever do that to me again!" Luna said then she gave me a tight hug
"don't worry I'm okay now," I say
"and that's all that matters right now," Luna says
"I may want to breathe sometime this century!" I say
"oops sorry," Luna says
we all jump to the library to see everyone. once we arrived Imogen gave me a tight hug.
I find an interesting book in the library and I start reading.
About 30 minutes later dad and Imogen appear and said that their ears got seen by grandpa.
suddenly dad's father appears "Darra, Imogen thank goodness you're safe to come with me. I'm evacuating my family we have a private sanctuary." jarred says
"what!" dad says
"we're not leaving!" Imogen said
"To be honestly jarred I don't see much point in running," Maxwell says
"And who's fault is that you set this purple lotus in motion" jarred said he looked at me with a stern look
"no.." I said in a sad tone
"you gave it orb magic," jarred said,
"I had no choice!" I exclaimed
"you're a tri-ling this is what your kind wants!" he exclaimed
"Jarred.." Maxwell said,
"I never wanted this!" I exclaimed
"she's a right dad! I started it!" Dad yelled,
"Don't be ridiculous why would you do that?" Jarred said
"because nothing I do is ever good enough for you! all my life you've been making decisions for me you don't care what I want as long as you get what you want, finding a legendary temple filled with riches seemed like a way to make you respect me, so if you want to blame someone look in the mirror " dad yelled at grandpa
"we'll discuss this later come along," Grandpa said
"no!" dad said
"Imogen..." jarred said,
"Where are you planning to go, dad, the lotus will affect us wherever we are!" Imogen said
"We leave in an hour, your mother and I will expect you," he said as he jumped somewhere.
"he needed to hear that," Imogen said as she pulled him into a hug
"Are you okay?" Luna said I just backed away and jumped to the one place I could think of the waterfront.
after about 10 - 15 minutes Luna came over to me
"you know how hard-headed grandpa is, sure he has a temper but that doesn't mean he doesn't love us. besides he didn't even know that he was fighting with his granddaughter." Luna says with a chuckle
