so basically im in love with my bestfriend billie,

weve known eachother for years now, as of now were 13.  billie knows im into girls and is totally ok with it but what she doesn't know is that I have slowly been falling more and more in love with her, and I plan on telling her that today

im walking to her house right now so im hoping this goes well, we'll see.

knocking on billies door her mum maggie answers letting me in, telling me billies in room and has some exicting news for me.

I knock on billies door

"whaaaaat" she drags out

"its y/n"

suddenly the door bursts open "omg I was about to call you I have the coolest fucking thing ever to tell you"

"mmm k shoot"

"ocean eyes got 1000 plays on soundcloud"

"billie what the fuck that so good" I say hugging her

"so what brought you here"

"I wanted to tell you something but wanted it to be done in person"

"okkkkkkk please tell me its that you finally got a girlfriend" she smirks

"no no but I do like someone"

she gasps "tell me tell me tell me"

staring right into her eyes "um its um- its you billie" I pause for a minute looking down at my fingers "I like you"

"what"

"billie I-"

she cuts me off "um y/n you know im not into girls right"

"I know I just needed to tell you"

"oh" was all she said

"ok well that's all I wanted to say um I gonna go yeah bye, bye billie"

I leave her saying congrats to finneas about ocean eyes and then walking home, and that night was the last time I heard from billie until 6 years later .

its been 6 years and not a word from billie, and you know what I haven't gotten over her. its kinda hard to move on from someone when their face is on every single billboard literally everywhere.

oh yeah ocean eyes did really well now billie eilish is a world famous artist who forgot about her bestfriend that was in love with her. I still speak to finneas from time to time he says billie misses me but how could she miss me when she is the one who ghosted me for 6 years makes sense right

anyway all this thinking got me annoyed so I decided to go for a walk. while walking I see a dog walking on its own towards me, it was a grey pitbul. cute.

I knelt down beside it, his name is shark no address on the collar but theres a phone number, I take the dog back to my place calling the owner almost as soon as I enter the house again.

phone call:

?? - hello

y/n - hey I think I found you dog he was just wondering my street

?? - omg you found shark, umm do you mind texting me your address so I can come get him

y/n - yea course

?? - thanks so much bye

y/n - bye

end call

it only took only 15 minutes until I heard a knock on my door that was quick,

unlocking the door I see someone I never thought id see ever again

I was almost to stunned to speak, but I managed to spit something out, "billie what are you doing here"

"you called me you found my dog that's why im here" she says not looking me in my eyes

"right course you are, um hes out back you remember the way, you can also let yourself out"

I don't even bother walking her out back after 6 years and she cant even look at me, was she that disgusted by my little crush. I guess so.

I hear the front door close and then a car door close and I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding. that when I hear the front door open again. and billie walking back in now standing in front of me.

"hey y/n"

"billie"

"its been a while"

"mm indeed it has"

"how have you been"

"billie what is this what do you want from me, no offence or anything but we haven't spoken in 6 years not since that night"

"I just wanted to talk I missed you"

"you could've texted me"

"please y/n that night I didn't know who I was and I was scared so I cut you off, but now I know who I am and I know how I feel I cant keep ignoring you or my feelings anymore"

"what are you trying to say billie"

"I think I might have feelings for you y/n and not talking to you the last 6 years has made me just fall in- fall for you even more"

"billie come here" I say opening my arms to her for a hug she practically runs into my arms and I just hold her

after a minute or so billie lifts her head and I look down at her only now realising how close our faces are to eachother. I catch myself looking down at billies lips, I know she sees cause she smirks and licks her lips,

"y/n"

"yeah"

"can I kiss you"

"yeah"

she then slowly leans in until our lips meet. its feels like forever has been waiting for this moment, for me and my childhood bestfriend to finally kiss. and now its happened its honestly the best feeling in the world. her lips on mine. my lips on hers.

I don't know what this makes us, I bet she doesn't either but that can be a problem for another day.
