After the party, Joshie and Rocky were waiting for Joshie's parents to come and pick them up, but it was starting to get late, Joshie started to show a little bit of a nervous state, fidgeting with his hands and look left and right, Rocky took notice and went over to Ryder to tell him about Joshie.
Rocky: Ryder Joshie's parents aren't here yet still and it's getting pretty late
Ryder: hmmmm well I guess he can stay with us for tonight
Skye: when was his parents supposed to get here?
Rocky: 9:54 or something like that
Chase: but it's now past that
Rocky: yeah and know Joshie is starting to get nervous
Marshall: well Ryder maybe we should call them
Ryder: good thinking ill.............
Captain Turbot: PAW PATROL!!!!!
Ryder: Captain Turbot? What brings you here?
Captain Turbot: it's a message from Joshie's Parents and its not good news
Joshie over heard and ran over to Ryder and the pups.
Joshie: my Parents? What's going on?
Captain Turbot: there's no easy way to say this but they are really sick as an they could.............
Joshie: n..n..no i...It can't be that y...you mean they are going to?
Captain Turbot: if nothing can be done then unfortunately yes
Joshie then went over to Ryder and he had tears, Ryder nealed down and hugged him, the pups were starting to whimper, they didn't like seeing Joshie in tears.
Ryder: I'm really sorry Joshie about your parents
Skye: are you going to be ok hun for missions?
Joshie: *sniffs and wipes tears away* i....i....I don't know
Chase: what happens when he loses his parents?
Captain Turbot: well they said if that happens, he will have to go to a foster home
Joshie: no i..I don't want to...............please don't take me to a.....a foster home
Rocky: yeah they are bad places, he won't be loved there and cared about, he'll just be a social outcast, j..just like how i...I was
Marshall: hey why don't we adopt him?
Chase: yeah we'll help Joshie get settled and show him around and since he doesn't have his own pup house he can sleep in one of ours
Rubble: yeah and he can eat with me all day
Rocky: most Importantly, he will be loved here and cared about
Joshie liked the sound of it but a little bit, he still wanted his parents to be ok, Ryder didn't know what to think, on one hand, he wanted everyone to be happy, but on the other hand, he didn't know if Joshie would be able to go through everything with the thought of his parents.
Ryder: ok pups I don't know how Joshie feels about it so
Chase: but Ryder sir Joshie needs a place to live
Zuma: besides the little dude went through to much with Humdinger and Sweetie
Skye: and especially those mean bullies destroyed his hat
Marshall: he deserves a loving home and that's here
Ryder: well...............
Joshie: Ryder p...please let me live with you guys i......I don't want to go to a foster home, i..I want to be l....loved *eyes began watering*
