I tried to see,
if sin subsided in the mirror
and only reflected
into my reality.
It looked at me
and copied my life
until it's hands
moved on alone.
I tried to see,
if my reflection
would respond back to me
and curse out the truth.
It pulled at me
and tried to bring me
into a place
opposite of now.
I tried to see,
if breaking the glass
would shatter a parallel lie
to blur a second time.
It had killed me
and left my corpse
in the transparent wall
to take my place in the world.
