Matt Murdock × Adelaide Watson : Daredevil has a heart too

He's gone ?

We walked through a dark tunnel until we heard talking .

" Do you think she knows where we are ? " ; a woman spoke .

" If not today then she will find out where we are tomorrow.  We need to move " ; the man replied.

" She knows everything. Always " ; he added .

I looked around and saw Natalie tied up to a pole .

Without warning I walked forwards .

" I found you today ! " ; I said proudly .

" Heidi . Good to see you again " ; someone spoke from behind me .

I turned around to see my biggest enemy  , Gregory Anderson . His gang came after me and Natalie .

" Your working with the hand ? " ; I asked .

He nodded .

He stood in combat form after that and I did the same .

We fought each other.  I was winning. One last punch .

" Stop it ! " ; the woman yelled .

She was holding Natalie , a knife by her neck .

" That same old stance ? " ; I laughed .

" Stop bluffing . We both know what happens once I slice her neck . She dies not because of the cut but because we extract her powers " ; she said .

" So don't try anything " ; she added .

I dropped my knife to the ground and kicked it away .

" You two can come out " ; she said loudly .

More men dragged Matt and Elektra in .

" Get her ready " ; the woman spoke handing Natalie away to another woman .

They sat her on a chair and handcuffed her.  She is a kid!

They got out several equipments.  One being a huge needle .

Nat looked towards it in fear . She was frozen .

I tried to move but as soon as I did that a gun was placed behind my head .

The woman pushed the needle into Natalie's arm.  She screamed as a white substance collected in the needle .

" Leave her alone ! No ! " ; I yelled .

They are killing her anyways might as well move now !

I quickly turned around and snatched the gun from Gregory's hand and shot him .

I pointed it towards the woman who was holding the needle .

Everyone pointed their weapons at me .

" Put that back into her " ; I said motioning towards tye needle filled with white substance .

" How about no ? " ; she challenged me .

Natalie didn't have a lot of time . She was already breathing heavily .

I shot the woman and soon after that Stark came flying into the room and killed off the rest.  That was surprisingly fast .

" Nat " ; I whispered kneeling down beside her .

" We need to get her to the labs " ; Tony said .

" Take her " ; I said getting her out of the handcuffs and handing her to him .

He flew out with her .

More people came piling into the room .

" Seriously ! " ; I groaned .

" Faulty generator.  Right side " ; Matt said .

I looked to the right to see the generator .

" On three " ; Elektra said .

" One
   Two
   Three " ; she yelled .

I ran towards the generator and switched it on , on full power .

I sparked and the lights went off.  Then it burst and the whole place caught on fire and it was spreading quickly. 

The three of us ran .

The fire was too quick for my liking.

We ran faster and reached the latch through which we came it .

Elektra tried to push it open .

" It's stuck " ; she said frustrated.

Matt and I tried to get it to open and it moved just a little bit .

The three of us went against it and it finally opened .

" Go go go " ; Matt said.

Elektra climbed out .

" We need to hurry.  I can see police lights " ; she said .

I looked at Matt . Only one of us could get out in time .

" Go " ; he said .

" No ! " ; I yelled .

He pressed his lips to me , shutting me .

" Natalie needs her mom.  I love you and her . I am sorry for whatever I said back then . I am sorry " ; he whispered .

Then without warning he lifted me up and got me out .

The latch shut and he was trapped .

Elektra dragged me out of there and sat beside me in an alley .

I burst out crying .

" No.  No . No " ; I cried .

Matt was gone.  He wasn't coming back and this was my fault.  Again !
