3. Book

Firea's P.O.V

“NAKO Rea, pasensya na di kita na balikan.. andami kasing customers eh," Lola Tere said while paiding the books I've chosen.

"Nah, its okay."

Inabot sakin ni Lola ang mga libro na nabili ko.

"Thanks," I smiled.

I'm about to exit but there's something on my bag bothered me.

Bumalik ako sa loob.

"Lola Nelia, this book isn't mine."

Wait what?, Seriously?"

"Oo, bakit may problema ba Rea?"

"I did. . .what? your kidding me," I fake a laugh.

"Ha?" Tila naguguluhang usal ni Lola.

"Lola, Did I just bring this book here? with me? as in on my hands?"

I didn't do that. I'd never buy useless things.

She just nodded while showing her confused reaction.

That's impossible,

"Do you have any CCTV's here?" I asked desperately.

"W-wala eh, ano ba nangyayare sayo?" He confusedly asked.

"Did I really do that? I didn't even remember I did such a thing."

"Ano bang problema?"

I sighed Okay. "I'll take it, I'm sorry." I said while   I opened the door hurrying.

"Okay kalang ba?" Lola Nelia uttered.

"Yeah, bye."

Nonsense, pwede ko namang itapon nalang to.

Lumabas na ako sa NBS. Pupuntahan ko ngayon si ate sa park kasi sabi nya dun daw kami magkikita para sabay na kaming umuwi, nag commute na lamang ako papunta doon.

I'm still bothered about what just happened, it's just that. . . first time in my whole life, I never experienced such things that happened earlier, I can't help but to think what's wrong with me, am I paranoid?

I looked at the book in my hand, Everytime I stare at this book, I feel like I'm missing it, It feels like I finally got the time I wished to come.

I tried to erase the thoughts that keeps playing in my mind.  Binalingan ko nalang ng atensyon ang driver.

"Ahm. . . manong can you stop? just for a while," I asked to the taxi driver.

I saw the driver looked at me in the rare mirror. "Ma’am?"

"I need you to stop," I said.

"Sige po, pasensya na po." I saw him in the front mirror smiling at me.

I just shut my mouth.

The driver find a right place first to parking, and then he stop when he already parked the taxi properly.

Lumabas ako at tinapon ko sa malayo ang libro bago pinagpagan ang sariling mga kamay.

That Book is so annoying. . . who would buy a book that full of nothing? who would read a book full of blank pages?
