I went straight to my class after I was done with taking out my stuffs.

I opened the door to my class to see Jeonghan, one of my best friends sitting by the window, finishing up his homeworks. I could only smile fondly upon seeing him

I mean... He's my first ever friend in this school. I do have other friends in this school and of course some of them are outside of this school and he was the one who introduced them to me

I then went up to my seat as I puts all of my belongings there before going to Jeonghan's seat

"Good morning Jeonghan" I greeted him

"Oh- Good morning Joshuji !" he raised his head as he grins

"Sorry, I didn't notice you coming in earlier. Too focused on this hehe" said Jeonghan as he had the smile of an angel. God, no wonder why he's so popular with girls. Anyone would fall for such an angel

"Struggling ?" I asked

"A bit, yeah" he replied as he scratched the back of his head

"Want a lil help ?" I offered and his eyes sparkled when I said so

"Yes please !" he responded excitedly

I took a look at the question he was having a problem is and explained it to him. When he finally understood he got really happy and excited. He thanked me over and over as he gave me a hug

"God, it's only one question Jeonghan ah. There's no need to be THIS happy" I laughed

"How can I not ?! I was struggling for the WHOLE night !" he pouted

"You could've called me" I responded followed by a chuckle

"I don't really want to disturb you Joshuji. We all know how busy you could be" he sighed

"Considerate as usual" I laughed

We were just talking with each other casually until Sooyoung Kim suddenly came into the class, approaching us

"Jeonghan oppa ~" she greeted Jeonghan

Here she goes again I guess ?

"Yes ?" Jeonghan responded to her

"Are you free after school ?" she asked

"Why do you ask ?" he asked her back

"Well, the girls and I are planning to go by the mall, wanna come ?" she responded to him

"I'm sorry, I don't think I could. Jisoo and I are planning to go on a coffee date after school" Jeonghan replied to her question

Eh ? When did I agree for a coffee date ?

"Ugh again ? Why are you hanging out with him ? He's such a loser !" said Sooyoung

This girl is really testing my patience

"If you're going to trashtalk about my friend, you better leave. I don't like it" said Jeonghan

"But--"

"Leave" said Jeonghan sternly

She clicked her tongue and left

"Thanks Jeonghan" I thanked him

"You're welcome Joshuji" he responded with a smile

I shouldn't really think much of what she said but sometimes I can't help but wonder, why is she being like this towards me
