Chapter 4-A Sirens Turn

Shroud POV

As soon as we got home dad started to make the Dino nuggets and I was in my room a little tired after coming back home I went downstairs to ask my dad if I can sleep

“Hey, Dad, can I go take a nap?” I asked, and he just looked at me with a smile.

“Yes shroud I'll wake you up when the food is ready,” Dad said making me go to my bed and sleepy I wonder what dreams I would have

And I woke up in a field that was beautiful with life and I turn to see a pretty lady with a purple like dress and a hat that has a veil

“Hello I'm Shroud” I greeted the nice lady who smiled while also looking a bit sad

“Hello Shroud, I'm … Kristin but I'm also your Dad Mother,” Kristin said sadly?

“So you're my Grandma,” I asked she nodded

“Yes but your Dad doesn't know about me because the moment I gave birth to him my time was up, and I had to return here where the souls have to be guided to rest,” Grandma said looking at the floor sadly

“Why doesn't dad know who you are, and why didn't my so call grandpa tell him about you?” I asked my grandma, who looked at me with tears.

“Phil couldn't see him he only saw a baby who killed his love he hurt our baby, and now he wants him back because of you and his wings he always said the next king has to have wings to lead the people, but his ideals Are hurting all of us I know he knows that this is wrong, but he doesn't care,” Grandma said crying

“But he is still going to his ideals ignoring the fact that your dad has moved on and is no longer an heir to the throne,” Grandma says her tears slowly disappearing and looking slightly happy

“Your Uncle or well Technoblade has given up since we'll, he knows this is wrong … Shroud, please hold on to your patience they will give up maybe not Phil, but please don't give in to their offers as tempting it might be most of all don't tell your dad about this dream,” Grandma said looking at me with a very sad face.

“Ok Grandma I promise,” I said sticking out my Pinky she laughed and intertwined it with mine

“Ok, it's time to wake up,” Grandma said

As soon as I woke up, I saw my Dad shaking me

“Oh, thank god, I thought I had to pour water on you to wake up,” Dad said going to my door

“Anyways Shroud food is ready come and eat,” Dad said I got up and went to the kitchen as he put my plate In Front of me

“You slept well Shroud,” Dad said

“Yeah I slept great,” I said I just remembered my dream and that I should not tell Dad since I pinky promise Grandma and pinky promise can't be broken that the rule, but now I must eat the Trex head to save the other dinosaur

“Hey dad, can you pass the ketchup"?

Wilbur POV

After that stupid argument with my Twin, I left to Tommy's cabin home and saw my nephew eating chicken nuggets shape like dinosaur foolish really he deserves a better meal than something that simple

I decided to camp the night out, 'trying to kidnap a kid won't be that hard would it' I thought as I fell asleep

As soon as I woke I saw it was dark already, so I quickly got up and went to Tommy's door only to find it locked 'of course, it's lock dumbass' I thought to myself

I went around the house to find some backdoor or an open window only to find a basement or a bunker I assume hatch door I opened it to see a cold room filled with boxes and old junk

I looked around hoping to find something of value to use as leverage against Tommy until I found a box labeled 'Shroud Growing Up Box' in a black pen

I opened it to see pictures of my nephew Growing up I saw a picture of his first step and one of him losing his first tooth I felt sad, not guilty

My brother had a box filled with memories of my nephew Growing up and taking pictures, it shows Tommy was a loving father and was there for him while we weren't there for him

I felt tears coming out of my eyes as I continue to check the photos, I found one of him going to the doctor the first time and one of him getting a sweet lollipop from being a good patient

I kept looking only seeing my brother and nephew smiling and laughing and overall having a happy life I was going to stop looking through the box until I found a picture

'shroud seeing his Uncle's and Grandadza' the photo was labeled, showing Tommy with tears while a baby shroud was holding my statue finger like he wouldn't let go

I couldn't handle myself being here any more I can't take their life away from me, I left before taking the photo and going back to the castle grounds taking deep Puffs of breath I pulled the photo out until I heard footsteps I turned around and saw my twin

“Wilbur what's that,” He asked with his arms crossed

I just showed him the picture of Tommy and Shroud of them in our statues while I was crying

“He still showed us that we were his family,” I said just sitting down on the cold floor of the castle grounds

“I think you know what to do Will,” Techno said, making me nod

“I'll stop just because he's happy,” I said, keeping the photo in my pocket

“And he deserves this for once in his life”
