Rue glanced to her left and noticed a girl looking in locker 211, which was right beside her. She noticed the girl has bags underneath her eyes. Both her and girl were wearing a long sleeve black hoodie.
"Cut or Burn?"Rue asked aloud
She turned and looked at Rue with a confused but aware facial expression. "Excuse me?"
"It's 104 degrees outside"Rue looked at her and smirked lightly. Before lifting up her sleeve just a tad bit and moving closer to the girl so no one would see. "I prefer to cut"Rue said
The girl raised her eyebrows "wow...they look fresh"
Rue nodded "just did it last night."rue slid her sleeve down "So? Burn or Cut?"Rue asked once more
She lifted up her sleeves and looked at Rue. "I go both ways"
A few cuts were on her right arm and a few burns were on her left arm. "Well, damn that's gonna take a while to heal"
"What's your name?"She asked
"Rue, what's yours?"Rue questioned
"Just call me Scar"She smirked
"Scar? as in the ones you have on your arm?"Rue asked
Scar shook her head and laughed lowly "No, Scar as in Scarlett"
Rue looked at the blonde girl beside Scarlett, noticing she was listening to their conversation. "You look new as well"
The blonde looked up and quickly nodded "yeah, I am.. I just moved here"
"That sucks..what's your name?"Rue asked
The blonde girl smirked "Jules"
"Mm. well welcome to this shitty town Scarlett and Jules"Rue said
"OH MY GOD! RUE?! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE OUT OF REHAB!"
Rue, Scarlett and Jules turned around seeing 4 girls approached them.

"Yeah, Maddy I got out yesterday"Rue said
"And they like fixed you right? Like your not addicted to drugs anymore?"Maddy asked

Scarlett tilted her head and squinted her eyes at Rue. Suddenly Maddy noticed Scarlett and Jules. "Do you know these people?"
Rue looked back at them and nodded "I just met them today, they're new here this is Scarlett and this is...Jules"Rue smirked
Kat smiled "well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Kat, this is BB, Cassie and loud mouth Maddy"
Maddy scoffed "Whatever, um Scarlett? are those dark spots under your eyes?"
Scarlett tilted her head at Maddy and smirked "yes, they are? does it...bother you?"Scarlett asked
"Yeah, can't you like put on some concealer? or foundation? cause that looks kinda gross"
Kat shook her head "you literally look fine Scarlett, Maddy everyone doesn't wear makeup everyday like you okay?"
Maddy gasped "wow! that is so fucking rude Kat!"

"It's okay...I gotta find my classes"Scarlett said before walking off
"Yeah, um I do too..it was nice to meet you all"Jules smiled
Kat sighed "Maddy why can't you be nice for once? she seemed so nice"
Rue looked down the hall and saw Scarlett and Jules disappear in the crowd. She found herself wanting to know more about the two.
