All time ever does is pass.

It doesn't heal.

It doesn't make you feel better.

It just passes.

And with time,

People expect you

To be okay with it.

To come to terms with it.

To accept it.

Time doesn't heal.

It forces us to accept it.

Cause if it's been four years,

And I'm still not over you,

It's my fault.

So, I need to get over you.

Cause they'd laugh at me,

Being stuck on you

For so darn long

While you go and run around

Having the time of your life.

Time doesn't heal.

All it does is pass.

And unfortunately,

All I do is remember.

I remember everything.

All those nice things

You told me,

And said about me

When you were drunk.

I remember the first time you held me

That night you saw me cry.

I remember that afternoon you told me

That you'd fallen in love with me,

A week after I told you the same.

All time ever does

Is pass.

And, while I'm stuck here,

Un-moving from your gorgeous smile

And deep blue eyes

All I can do is remember.
