The Avengers inside the Soul Stone argue about trying to get out. Then they realize what day it is.
We need a plan," Sam says one afternoon. "We're been in this stupid rock for months."
"I think we should wait," Bucky tells him. "Steve and the others will get us out. We just have to wait."
"No! They have had months to get us out of here. If they haven't done it by now I don't think it's going to happen."
"They haven't had that long. Give them time."
"I just think we should start planning too. The sooner we get out of here the better."
"I agree with Sam," Wanda adds. "We need to get out of here."
"I do want to get back to my sister," T'Challa says. "However, we don't have anything to work with. How are we going to get ourselves out of this?"
"Well, we have to try right?" Sam asks. "We could try breaking the walls to get out."
"Maybe we shouldn't!" Peter says quickly. "Messing with the -"
Sam cuts him off before he can finish his sentence, "Peter, please, you're 16. Just because Stark likes you, doesn't mean that you know everything."
Sam turns his back to Peter and starts looking at the wall.
T'Challa walks over to Peter, "he's just really stressed right now. I don't think he meant to yell at you."
Peter shrugs, "it's not a big deal. I was just trying to tell him that although not much is known about the stones Dr. Strange found a old book on them. It said that the only way to reverse the affect of the stone is through time travel. Messing with the stones from the inside is a really bad idea. Mr. Stark and the others have to figure out time travel if we want to get out. I can go find Dr. Strange, maybe Sam will believe him."
T'Challa smiles, "you are very smart for a 16 year old. I think you and my sister would get along well."
"Thanks," Peter looks around quickly, making sure no one is close enough to hear. "I'm actually 17, today's my birthday."
Before T'Challa can answer Peter runs off to look for Dr. Strange.
"T'Challa!" Sam calls. "Are you going to help us break out of here or not?"
"I am no," the king replies. "I'm going to listen to Peter, because he is very smart and I don't think it's a good idea. Also, I don't know how well you actually know Peter,"
"Not very well," Sam says.
"Then, you should know that his birthday is August 10th."
"Shit," Wanda says.
"What?" Bucky asks.
"Today is the 10th." Wanda looks angry. "Today is Peter's 17th birthday."
Before anyone else can say anything Peter comes back with Dr. Strange.
"It is not a wise idea to hit the walls," Strange informs them. "In fact that might be the worst way to try to get out of here. There is not much we can do. We have to wait for Stark and the others to get us out."
They all agreed and sat down to talk and get to know each other a little better.
