Exhaustion hits me like a cloud.
Not hard and fast as one might imagine.
But slow, and gentle almost.
And I never really know how heavy it is until I feel it's weight on my shoulders.
When I'm begging for rest that doesn't come.
'Cause my busy mind gnashes the drowsiness away.
