It's Been A Year Since Sam risked his life and fell into the pit with Lucifer and Micheal. Dean kept his promise and moved it with Lisa & Ben and appears to be happy, Elena finds him but stops.
Just When Everything in the world seemed okay...
"It wasn't a ghost. Unless ghosts leave footprints." Sheriff Says
Dean looks at the floor where there are dark footprints leading out of the room
"I am telling you, Elias Finch was here. He did... that, and then he walked out that door." Darla Says
"Rope didn't kill him, Seen it before." Sheriff Says
"Well, you got any idea where he could be?" Elena Asks
"Could be a thousand places." Sheriff Says
"Well, you got a way to flush him out?" Dean Asks
"Course we're gonna form a posse, Then we're gonna string Finch up right. Put a bullet in his head for good measure." Sheriff Says
"That actually sounds like a good plan." Dean Says
"You two should come along, Meet downstairs at dawn." Sheriff Says
"Woah why just them, why not me as well?" Elena Says
"Because your a lady and you pretty ladies don't belong out there with us men fighting you'll get yourself killed, just stay put." Sheriff Says
"That's not happening." Sam Says
"And why not?" Sheriff Says
"Because she's with us, and on most days she's Better at this than us " Elena Smiles at him "So Sheriff where not coming if she's not." Dean Says Then Winks at Elena
"Fine whatever, just don't die." Sheriff Says Then Says
"Yeah, we'll be there." Dean Says
"Get yourselves some real gear first, huh." Sheriff Says Then leaves
"Well, I think we ought to pay our respects to Finch." Dean Says
"I was thinking the same thing." Dean Says

Sam, Elena and Dean stands over a grave holding lanterns to see.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Sam Says
"Rose from the ashes, burned up its victim? You know, maybe we're not looking for a flaming bird. Maybe the Phoenix is actually walking around in cowboy boots." Dean Says
"That makes sense, right? Could be Finch." Sam Says
"So, question is, how do we put this thing out?" Elena Says
"Well, we do know one thing that'll kill friggin' anything, right?" Dean Says
"Yeah, the Colt." Sam Says
"So, you go get the gun." Dean Says
"But isn't the gun coming here? I mean, according to Samuel Colt's journal." Sam Says
"Yeah, but people here barely even know who Colt is. Maybe you got to go find him and make history, Lena and I will stay here, and I'll hook up with the posse. 'Cause you know me -- I'm a posse magnet. I mean, I love posse. Make that into a t-shirt." Dean Says
