Chapter Three "1996"
THE MARAUDERS WERE IN 1996, none of them believes it's real. How can they come from 1977 to 1996 in three minutes? 19 years!! Their older selves would be around 37, Dang.
Everyone including Lily never thought they would come 19 years in future. The max Lily used the time-turner was two hours. It was their mistake, all of them that they are in 1996.
"What are we gonna do?" Remus asked worriedly "I-w-we have to do something," James said looking at the broken time-turner
"we can't fix this" Lily replied while looking down, everyone looked at her "Professor McGonagall told me, 'once broken time-turner could never repair," Lily told everyone
(I know it could, but not this one cause it was old)
Everyone sat in McGonagall's office in silence, thinking what they can or can not do.
"Guys, I think Professor Dumbledore is our only option," Lily said slowly "Are you CrAzY? We just came here, let's look around" Sirius offered,
"No Padfoot, Lily's right," Remus told Sirius "Oh not you too Moony" Sirius rolled his eyes
"We're 19 years in future, we don't even know what's happening," Marlene said looking at Sirius
"Well, I can tell" Sirius stood up "Prongs and Lily would be married, they had a kid or two," Sirius said looking at James and Lily "You Marlene would be living with your lovely girlfriend in New York like you always wished. Moony would be doing a job or getting married and I would be in my little world" Sirius completed
Lily stood up "come on we're going to meet Dumbledore" everyone stood up and followed Lily outside.
The hallways were exactly as it was in 1977, nothing has changed. The Marauders kept waking but James stopped making others stop as well. He nodded towards a men, It was Argus Filch
"Damn, he's still alive" Marlene mumbled
They finally reached Dumbledore's office and to everyone's surprise, his password was the same as 1977. They walked inside but there was no one
"He's not here, now can we explore?" Sirius said lazily
"who said I am not here Mr Black" they all turn to the voice of Dumbledore. He looked the same just his beard grown longer
"Professor Dumbledore, we are here...." Lily was cut off by Dumbledore
"I know why you're here. I was waiting for you" Dumbledore said
