My fingertips just barely brush across the wood of my bed stand drawer. Frustrated, I groan from realizing how much time has probably passed. Isaac has been gone for about fifteen minutes now. Something's wrong and he's going after the twins. I yank on the chains, angrily. The handcuffs stay secure around my ankles. My apartment door opens and I can hear someone running down the hallway.

Allison runs into my bedroom with a pair of keys in her hands and her crossbow in the other. She spots me on the bed and rushes to my aid.

"Thank you." I push myself up into a sitting position. "I had an extra pair of keys in that drawer, but Isaac had pushed it away."

Allison works on unlocking the handcuffs. "Please tell me you guys aren't into that kinky stuff and this was not planned"

I give my twin an appalled look. "No!" I rub my ankle when the first handcuff comes off. "He showed up here last night. Isaac didn't specify how he got out of the hospital." I look back over to my dresser. He took most of my lethal weapons. "He was acting weird last night. He wasn't himself."

"What do you mean?" Allison twists the key, freeing my other leg.

I swing my legs off of the bed. I yell at her from my closet, pulling on clothes. "He was stiff and had this odd look to him. I think he knew I could tell something was off and he distracted me." I shove my feet in a pair of black bombat boots.

Allison holds up the handcuffs. "Distracted you?"

I walk out of the closet, running my fingers through my hair. "He kissed me. That's it." I open the last drawer of my dresser. Luckily, my arrows are still in place. I scoop them up with the my quiver and swing them over my shoulder. "Then I woke up this morning with him grabbing my weopons and saying he was going after the twins. I made a move to follow him until I realized what he had done."

"Why would he go after the twins?" Allison follows me out of my bedroom.

"I don't know." I open the spare closet and grab my bow. I have a few around my apartment hidden, but I keep my favorite in the hall closet. "But, we're going to stop him."

"Where do you think he went?"

I grab the door handle in my hand and look over my shoulder. "Probably the school. I remember hearing Danny talking about practicing with Ethan every week. Isaac would probably head there first."

"Wait." Allison pauses when I step out of my apartment.

I whirl around, waiting for her to explain why we are stopping. We need to hurry.

"Why did you call me instead of Derek?"

I grab Allison's wrist and pull her out of my apartment. She shuts my door in the process. I jab my free hand on the elevator button. "Derek and I are on the rocks right now."

        "Meaning?"

"I told him I don't love him anymore."

The elevator doors open and we step inside. I can feel Allison's eyes on my face. I turn to look at her to find her looking rather shocked. I press the correct button for us to head to the basement to grab my car. Allison stills hasn't stopped staring at me and I grow a little annoyed.

        "What?" I snap at her.

"Why would you do that?" Allison finally says something.
