If any of you guessed Glorfindel, you'd be correct. The picture in the media is him.

Sorry, but I couldn't help but include my favorite high elf. Also if you're an MCU fan I have another version of Glitter and Gold in the media.

Glorfindel: One of the strongest and highest elves to exist. He was born in Valinor (the blessed lands west of Middle Earth which is where elves go after they either die or grow tired of Middle Earth. They are kind of like Middle Earth's version of Heaven, and the Valar, who can be described as gods with a lowercase g, live there). Glorfindel left Valinor and went to Middle Earth, where he fought bravely and eventually died when he slew a balrog and was brought down with it. He, like any other elf, was then reincarnated in Valinor once more, but this time he was gifted with powers that made him nearly an equal to Maiar like Gandalf as a reward for the fact that he died protecting others. Thousands of years later he was sent back to Middle Earth to help them in their battles.

Gil-galad: This is not too important since I only briefly mention him, but he is the last high king of the Noldor elves. He was slain with Elendil when they both brought down Sauron.

Noldor Elves: Some of the highest and most powerful elves. Many of them lived in Valinor and were known for their lore and craftsmanship. It was mainly the Noldor elves that sailed back to Middle Earth from Valinor to fight in the wars or adventure.

{7} Glorfindel of Imladris

"Welcome back to the land of the living, mellon nín," an amused voice chorused through Legolas' ears. There was a certain melodic grace spoken in the words that should've belonged to a female gifted with the most beautiful voice in all of Middle Earth.

However, this voice was masculine.

Legolas slowly blinked, allowing the bright light of the moon and stars to flood his eyes. He sharply inhaled at the pain, yet it was nothing in comparison to what he felt in the remainder of his body.

When everything finally came back into focus, Legolas couldn't help but feel as though he was hallucinating again. Before him causally sat a blond elf of which Legolas immediately assumed the remarkable identity of.

The elf was tall, with blond hair that rivaled the radiance of gold itself, and had the face of infinite fearless youth and joy. He was just as, if not more, magnificent as described in the tales that Legolas grew up studying.

"Glorfindel!" Legolas exclaimed incredulously, though his voice came out hoarse and raspy. "To think that I fell asleep in the face of death and awake in the presence of one of the mightiest elves of the Noldor!"

"It is not every day that those who I have never encountered before immediately call me by my name," Glorfindel chuckled, turning his attention away from Legolas and back to the fire he was tending to. "But greetings to you as well, Legolas, son of Thranduil. You are lucky to still be alive, young prince."

"I assume that I have you to thank?" Legolas responded, his voice gradually becoming stronger with each word.

"Partially, indeed," Glorfindel nodded. "It was my hands that brought life back to you when I found you. You hadn't even been drawing breath when I arrived. However, it is truly your horse you should be grateful for. He was the one that sought me in the midst of my hunt."
