Attacked At Breakfast

Jason was awaken by the smell of campfire and breakfast being cooked by the other campers he sat up a little and looked down at Reyna who's head was still resting on him he shook her lightly trying to wake her up so they could go eat breakfast "Reyna time to get up breakfast is almost ready" he smiles as she lifted her head and looked up at him "how'd you sleep" he asks "comfortably" she replies with a smile "we should get out there and eat so we can continue the trip" he stands up and unzips the tent and walks out as Reyna follows him and they sit at a table that had been set up and Jason looked around as campers brought plates of food and they all began eating. It wasn't till everybody was about done eating when they started to hear loud stomps and howls coming out of the tree line Jason stood up from the table and pulled out his gold coin flipping it and watching it turn it to a sword and catching it again standing ready for what ever was about to attack. In a matter of seconds a large pack of wolves came charging out of the tree line knocking over the table and blocking the path Jason and the rest of the group ran towards another path and kept running as some of the campers shot at the wolves with bows and arrows. The path finally stopped at the edge of a cliff and a large tipped over tree that connected to the other side of a cliff Reyna hurried on by and started to cross the fallen tree followed by two campers then Jason and the rest of the campers. It wasn't till they were at the middle of the fallen tree when more wolves showed up on the other side then one of the campers readied an arrow on his bow and shot the arrow passed Reyna which startled her causing her to lose her balance and fall off of the tree. Jason watched as his fellow praetor fell through the air heading towards the bottom of the canyon he felt his heart sink into his stomach and he jumped off of the tree letting the wind carry him closer to her. Jason was catching up to her but she was falling fast and she was almost at the bottom he was within arms distance from her and stretched out his arm trying to grab onto her hand he wasn't sure if he was going to catch her in time he looked into her eyes "it's going to be okay" he said softly trying to keep her calm
