DAMIEN POV :

I was working in my home office when I suddenly got a call from LAPD.

why are they calling? if there calling me to say one of my kids got arrested for partying again they're gonna be grounded for the rest of their lives

"Speak," I say

"hello is this Mr. De Luca?"

"yes, this is he who's speaking? why are you calling me" I came off as a little irritated

" Hello, sir I am officer smith I'm calling because 13 years ago you made a missing persons report for your daughter Valentina de Luca right? "

"yeah, I did. what about my daughter ?"

"we'll we have some good news for you we found her  "

my heart dropped once the officer finished his sentence causing tears to well up in my eyes

She'll finally come home my Principessa, my daughter.

" thank you so much," I say my voice cracking a bit

"I'll meet you here at the station. I'll send the required paperwork to you right away "

I hang up and immediately I call my pilot telling him to get the plane ready to go to LA.

after I am done,  I call my oldest and second oldest into my office

minutes later I hear someone knocks on my door

" enter," I say

my oldest and second oldest come in closing the door behind them.

"what's up dad," says Elijah my second oldest.

"they found her," I say with tears threatening to fall from my eyes

alexander and Elijah freeze as if they were deer caught in headlights.

"what," they both whisper as if they couldn't believe it

"they found Valentina" I repeat

"get ready we leave in 30 minutes. don't tell the other boys I want to surprise them" I announce

they both run out in a hurry to get their stuff ready as soon as I finished my sentence

They were rushing so hard that they kept on pushing each other so that they could get to their rooms faster

I just shake my head in amusement

my Principessa she's coming home finally after 13 years without her.

after her mother kidnapped her, I and the boys didn't handle it well. I threw myself into work so I could occupy my mind and forget about losing both my daughter and wife but nothing worked.

I had lost both my wife and daughter.

I felt guilty about not being there for my other kids but I was too deep in my sorrow to change. That was until my father gave me a lecture

He told me that it was okay to be sad but that shouldn't stop me from being in my other kid's lives. So after that, I was more involved with my kids, and now thanks to that we have a great relationship.

Although my wife may have run away she's still the mother of my children and the love of my life.

I will always be in love with her and she probably had her reasons.

my sons did take it the hardest though. they would run around the house in desperation trying to find their sister and mother, but soon they realized that they were gone.

this destroyed them all they ever want wanted was a little sister and when they finally got one they were over the moon

I remember that when we told them they would be getting another brother they all were happy but once we told them that they would also be getting a little sister they all jumped with joy

They wouldn't let their mom do anything or pick up stuff, they would always tell her to sit down because "she could hurt the babies" and then would leave me to do it 

I will also admit I was doing the same but what can I say, I did the same thing for all of my wife's pregnancies

But when she left us we were never the same.

" we will bring her back for good," I say to myself

I get into my range rover with my sons and we start driving to our private airport.

once we get to our private airport I tell one of the guards to tell the pilot to start getting ready to take off.

my sons and I step into our private jet and buckle up. Soon after the flight attendant comes up to us and tells us we will be taking off

As we were up in the air my leg was jumping up and down from nervousness and when I looked around I see my sons doing the same.

how will she react to meeting us after 16 years again? will she be surprised? angry? Sad?

who knows but all I know is that I am going to make it up to my baby for missing so many years of her life.

shortly after I hear a ding from my phone, It was officer smith who had sent the paperwork over.

As soon as I opened my phone I quickly sign everything as fast as I could

after I was done I relax in my seat hoping that time will go by faster

we are coming for you Principessa.
