Walking back home from school i grabbed my keys and opened the door, My dad was sitting on couch with his hands on his head crying my dad never cried
"hey dad whats wrong"
I sat down next to him with my hand on his back comforting him
"Coach buzzer he's gone jup"
My heart stopped coach buzzer taught me how to play basketball although i was never really good he always said ' not everyone can say that basketball is for them kiddo'
Coach buzzer helped my dad he was basically another father figure to him
"When's the funeral?"
I asked him quietly
"Friday and pack because we're gonna be staying at the cabin with some of my old friends and their kids"
Making new friends was never really a problem but I just didn't know how to talk to people. That's why I count on my dad to be my best friend.
