Today is the day of the dead, i'm in the world of the living instead of planning the parties because my sister insisted on me going with her and Xibalba to celebrate this festive night

It's pretty nice up here, the children are playing with eachother, there's music and people are dancing

My sister and Xibalba was having a little conversation but i didn't really pay attention to what they were saying

Xibalba put out the candles of one of the graves and my sister lit them up again, i put a little flower in the middle

They were fighting about something, i don't know what they are fighting about, but i got interested in the conversation they were having when i heard Xibalba say the word "wager"

You think you can calm the flames of my anger with another bet?!...what exactly do you have in mind?

My sister and Xibalba has a betting addiction, i sometimes participate in the bets but always try to make sure my sister wins them

They went to a tall building and i followed suit (is that how you spell it?)

A boy was playing the guitar when another boy with a moustache interrupted him

Joaquin: Fear not senorita, your hero has arrived!

Maria: is that so?

Manolo: How dare you interrupt a guitarrista

Both of the boys started playfully fighting

???: The girl is mine

Joaquin: Never!

Manolo: She is mine

The girl jumps off the gravestone that she was sitting on and pushed both of them

Maria: I belong to no one

Both: Wow

I believe we have our wager, which boy will marry her?

Very well, we will each choose one of these boys as our champion

My sister and Xibalba transformed to an old human couple and went to choose their champions-

Is that a chicken blowing bubbles from it's mouth? I WANNA CATCH IT!!!

I transformed to a little boy and tried to catch the chicken

Manolo: Hello there!

I'm guessing my sister already spoke to him

Manolo: oops, sorry! Didn't mean to scare you

I heard his father call for him

Manolo: coming papa!

I went invisible and turned back to my original self

Manolo: where did he go?

He looked around for a second but when he didn't find me he went to his father

That was a close one

While Marco and La Muerte was busy, Xibalba secretly gave Joaquin the metal of ever lasting life

My sister and i was waiting on top of a building waiting for Xibalba to finish talking with his champion

So then, if my boy marries the girl, i will finally rule the land of the remembered

And if my boy marries the girl, you will...you will stop interfering with the affairs of men!

What?! I can't do that! Come on, it's the only fun i ever get!

Then the bet is off

*Scoffs but then proceeds to smile wickedly*

Very well my dear. By the ancient rules, the wager is set

This is the greatest wager they ever made!
