"Yah... Why didn't you told us?"

I stared at my parents with a serious look "We could've been the most powerful family in Korea, why did you hid it huh?" Mother angrily stated as i gently grabbed my tea and sipped the hot tea

"I'm telling you that I won't compete with Chaeryoung, why need power when we already had enough?" I ask them as they glared at me

"one day you'll learn that we only did this for you Shin Ryujin..."

"And that one day, won't ever come eomma... It will never will, I'm done playing the perfect daughter..." I responded as they groan at my stubborness

"So? We are family Ryujin... Your daughter will follow the family tradition, like how you did"

"So? Will you make her a new identity? Like how you did to me? Eomma.. Please stop, I don't want my daughter to experience what I have" I seriously stated

"She had Blood of the Shin's Ryujin, every successor is bound to experience that"

I shook my head as I faced them "You can remove us from the Family Eomma... But I won't give Jisoo such burden... And besides, if I leave, I'm not the one who will deal such serious losses" I responded as I walked out of their room

And it felt like all my problems have been washed away, it felt refreshing...

As i walked out of the main house, leaving my parents with such angry face

It's been a week since I've woken up, and it's the first time I've gotten out from Gyu oppa's clutches

I know that they won't have the guts to kick us out from the Shins because I'm the root of their wealth and also the future wife of the successor of the Choi's

"Are you done saying goodbye to your parents?"

I looked up and saw Gyu Oppa waiting for me while giving me a smile

"Eomma, did your mother kicked us out from the family?" Jisoo ask me as I gave her a peck in the cheeks

"They don't have the courage to do so, and besides...if they kick us out then the family will be in ruins" I responded as we went inside the car

"What a shame... I remember that your grandma isn't like that.. Maybe it's from your maternal grandma?" Gyu oppa told me as we drove towards back home

"Probably, Eomma's personality is like a rose... She's a beautiful petal infront of the public but a thorny woman when in private" I stated as i opened my phone to read the latest news

I could feel that Jisoo is grinning ear to ear seeing that we are finally a complete family...

"You don't know how painful it is that you aren't beside me when I woke up?"

I cried as soon as he saw me looking at him, as he rush to me giving me a tight embrace... Caressing my hair

"Mian Jin-ah.... I thought that you'll hate it if I stayed beside you" He told me as I sob

"Oppa...forgive me for lying to you all this time" I apologise... Lowering my pride for the sake of my daughter

"I'm also sorry... I know that I'm not perfect but I'll try my best for you and Jisoo" He told me as he caress my hair

"Me too... No one's perfect, but we have each other"

In this day...

We made up...

And my heart couldn't be any more happier...

"By the way Oppa, when we made up a week ago... Do you think that something is weird?" I ask him as we ordered our food

"How?" he asked me as he helped Jisoo in her chair

"Umm... That we have a connection between that day, what date is that day?" I ask him as he thought for a second

"It's the 20th of July Eomma and Appa... That's the proof that your already old" Jisoo told us as both of us looked at her mocking look

"Wait... 20th of July? Isn't that?-" I gasp as I remembered what happened that day

"Wae? What's special about that day?" Oppa asked me

"That day, is the day when we first met... 20 years ago..." I told him as he widen his eyes realizing it

I smiled brightly...

20th of July... Is a memorable date for the both us...

Because its the time when we were introduce to each other...

"By the way Ryu, did Chaeryoungie went somewhere?" He asked me as the waiter gave us our order

"Yeah... How did you know that? That leave is a secret one.. Because of your best friend" I told him as he frowned

"Can't you just help them made up? I mean Taehyun-ie really love Chaeryoungie and you know that" He told me as I took a huge bite of tteokbokki

"And so? Yah, what he did to Chaer is a big sin.. He lied to her! And she tried her best to hide the fact that she's the heiress and Taehyun pretended that he didn't know...you don't know how long she cried the night after our engagement party a few months back"I explained to him as he sighed loudly

"But can't you just tell me where she went? I mean... Tae's been begging to tell him and he is the one who arranged the press conference" I sigh loudly hearing his words

"Fine.. But make sure that Chaer doesn't know I'm the one who told you ok?... She's in the Philippines" he stopped what he was doing hearing the place where Chaer currently hid

"Jinjja? I guess that Yeonjun hyung's guess is correct" He told me as he took a bite in his order

"Maybe Yeji Unnie already told him... But they should make up, and also Kai and Yuna"

"Yeah.... They're story is not complicated as us, why are they being dramatic?" He stated as i smiled and took a peck in his cheeks

Hearing my words he gave me an aloof smile and kissed me again

"Eomma, Appa... I'm still here OK?"
