Y/n was in the great hall for dinner. On her left was Draco and Krum and on her right was Ash.
Draco didn't say anything to Ash thanks to Krum. Krum told Draco that it's just for a year and to Y/n's surprise Draco accepted it. Shocking right.
"Ash" Y/n called out for him. He looked at her "I didn't get the time to introduce you to my friends" she continued and looked at the Hufflepuff table
"look over there. Can you see four boys" she pointed out so Ash can know who she was talking about.
"That's Cedric, Tom, Andrew and Zack," She told him "Cedric? I have heard he is planning on entering the tournament" Ash said "yeh. I will talk to him later about all tournament things" Y/n sign
"anyway look at the Ravenclaw table. See that blond girl who's eating pudding" he nodded "her name is Luna Lovegood. She is an awesome girl-" Y/n stopped.
She saw Harry staring at Cho Chang. AGAIN. Y/n rolled her eyes. Ash noticed.
He looked in the direction she was looking and looked back at her. "Harry Potter. Huh?" He smirks "Harry Potter what?" Y/n raise her eyebrow. "Don't tell me you are falling for the chosen one" Ash laughed
"what I am no-" she was trying not to blush. Which was surprising to her. Why does she feel this way
"yes, you are. I know you y/n/n and the face you made says a lot" Ash completed "shut up" she rolled her eyes. "What about your other 'friend" Ash commented
Y/n took a deep breath and continued "on the Gryffindor table there's Harry Potter as you already know and beside him his two best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger" she turn to Ash "but I don't think we are that close. It's strange"

The next day Y/n, Ash and her Hufflepuff friends were near the ground talking
"Y/n always talked about you," Tom said "Looks like someone is obsessed with me" Ash smirk "Shut up" Y/n playfully hit his arm.
"Cedric you are entering the tournament?" y/n got straight to the point "yes I am," Cedric replied with a proud smile "But what if something bad happens" she added.
"Don't worry Y/n/n nothing is gonna happen?" Zack said "still the tournament is dangerous?" Y/n said "I will agree with her. It is going to be dangerous" Ash nodded "What's a life without a little risk?" Cedric said
"It's death" y/n replied "what I'm being honest"

The Goblet was placed in the great hall. People were entering the tournament. Y/n looked at the twins who were trying to enter
"Ready Fred?-" said one of the twins "-Ready George?" Completed the other "bottoms up" they said at the same time and jumped inside the circle.
First, nothing happens which made them happy but then they got thrown out and the ageing potion backwards.
Ash was with Krum and his friends. Krum put the piece of paper with his name on it in the goblet.
"Are you positive about it?" Y/n was with rest of the hufflepuff and non of them mind the company of certain Slytherin. "Positive" Cedric smiled
He went inside the circle and put in his name. There was loud cheering for him. "This idiot Hogwarts champion?" asked Ron. Y/n heard him. she turns towards him and looked dead into his eyes.
"Weasley don't you ever call him an idiot. I'll not be afraid to hex you" y/n looked at Ron then at Harry and went back to her friends.
"Your father will be so proud of you," Zack said "yes. I am doing this for him" Cedric told us "if I got selected then promise you all will help me out" he added "we will" we all said at the same time.

People were still entering the tournament mostly Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. Y/n was sitting alone in the corner doodling
"Y/n/n" she heard her name when she looked up she saw Cedric. He took a site near her.
"I thought you went with the Hufflepuffs" y/n said "I did but- Y/n can I ask for a favour?" Cedric said. He look nervous "what is it?" Y/n asked while closing her book
"I am going to ask Cho out," he began "WHAT" Y/n said in a loud voice making few people look at her including harry.
"Wait, when?" Y/n asked slowly "next Hogsmeade trip," said Cedric. "Salazar, yes!!" then Cedric and Y/n went out of the hall.
They didn't know that Ron was listing to their conversation but he didn't head them correctly.

The trio made their way to the common room. "Harry I have something to tell you" Ron said "not now," said harry "it's about y/n" Harry stopped
"I heard Cedric and y/n talking. he asked her out," Ron told harry "Ronal it's rude to spy" Hermione scolded angrily
"I was not spying I just heard them talking" said Ron "they're going out on the next Hogsmeade trip"
"Say something" Ron got a bit annoyed by Harry as he was not replying. "I don't want to interfere in her personal life Harry, but if you want to tell her something you should" than Hermione went to her dorm. Hermione knew Harry like Y/n even tho he will never accept it
"What does she meant?" Asked Ron "I don't know and I don't care" Harry said and went to his dorm.

Today was the day. Goblet of fire will choose three champions. Y/n was hoping for Cedric.
First, she didn't want him to enter but when she heard Cedric talking about how he will make his father proud she understand it. She wants to do the same. Make her father proud.
Goblet was placed in the middle of the hall.
The first paper came out "Durmstrang champion...Viktor Krum" Dumbledore read the paper and there was a huge cheer for Krum. 'no surprise there' thought y/n. Krum walk towards dumbledore and went to the left.
The second paper came out "Beauxbatons champion.....Fleur Delacour" same happens with Fleur
"Last Hogwarts champion...Cedric Diggory" Dumbledore said proudly. There was a huge cheer for Cedric. "YESSS" Y/n said happily Cedric smiled at her and went to the room.
Dumbledore stated saying something when a noise came from the goblet and another paper came out
"...harry potter.." Whispered Dumbledore. Y/n was shocked "what?" Ash asked "HARRY POTTER" dumbledore shouted. Harry nervously stood up. People started whispering -
"he is not even 17"
"he cheated"
"cheater"
