Chapter 28

Seokjin's POV

I lay down Taehyung on his bed and tucked him under his comforter. I stared at him for a moment before roaming my eyes around his room

The design of his room is simple, I like it.

A knock on the door interrupted me, I quickly walked towards the door and opened it to see who it was

"Jin, can you have a moment?" Namjoon asked while smiling wide

I looked behind me at the sleeping Taehyung before nodding at Namjoon. I stepped out the room, quietly closing the door

"What's up?" Namjoon started walking so I followed him, walking just beside him

"Uncle wants to talk to you" he said, placing both of his hands on his pocket. I gulped nervously as I began fidgeting

"Don't worry, uncle is a nice guy. He won't do anything to you, especially when he knows you're his son's boyfriend" Namjoon smiled at me as he caresses my hair

We stopped in front of the room; the door is color black. Namjoon glance at me before opening the door wide open

An office room greeted me, the middle-aged man was sitting on his swivel chair, seems like he's busy typing something on his laptop

"Uncle, here he is" Namjoon said, guiding me inside the room, he signaled me to sit down the sofa, so I did

"Thank you Namjoon, you may leave now" he said without taking off his eyes on his laptop's screen

My heart began beating fast, I quickly looked at Namjoon, signaling him to not leave me alone with Taehyung's father

He smiled at me "It's ok, you'll be ok" he muttered before stepping out of the room, closing the door without any noise

"So, Kim Seokjin, right?" Mr. Kim said making me flinch, I smiled nervously before nodding

"I'm scary, am I?" He stared at me and let out a lowly giggle

He stands up from his seat before walking towards me and sat beside me

"Are you the stepbrother of Yoongi-shi?" He asked as he tilted his head sideways to take a better look at me

"Yes" I shortly response, diverting my eyes to somewhere else as I have no courage to look at him

"Are you and my son are a thing?" He asked, raising both of his eyebrows while smiling wide at me

"W-we're currently dating" I tightly closed my eyes and internally cursed myself for stuttering

"Well, congrats" My eyes quickly opened as I stared at Taehyung's dad who is smiling wide at me

"No need to congratulate me, we're not even a couple yet" I said but turned out as a whisper

He giggled before patting my head

"Why not? You two will become a couple in the future." He sighs "It's good that he finally found someone he loves, I thought he's going to grow old alone" he then let out a laugh

"Even though I hate your father, I think I'm going to like you"

"You know my father?" I asked in shocked

"Of course, he's the CEO of our enemy's company after all" he grins before standing up and walking back to his swivel chair

"Don't worry too much, we treat each other as a frenemy" he winked before going back on what's his doing earlier

I didn't utter a word, so did he. I adjusted myself on the sofa, staring awkwardly at nothing, then some minutes, a soft knock echoed through the silent office room
