Maybe someday... {Kanao x Nezuko}

3ʀᴅ ᴘᴏᴠ

They were passing the gate and walking towards Shinobu's estate or the more common name for it

The butterfly estate

They arrived at the butterfly estate as Shinobu place Nezuko on a bed in one of the many rooms as she tried to think of a way for Tanjiro to go around the place without literally burning into ashes

But for now they used a thick blanket that the sun can't go thru to burn Tanjiro

After some hours Nezuko woke up and sat up quickly and looked around for her older brother but got distracted by a blanket on the floor moving around

She looked at the blanket and stood up as the blacket started moving towards her as she then felt someone hug her leg

"Mmm!" She heard as she bend down to look under the blanket but whoever was under the blanket move back because of the sun

Soon Nezuko heard something again with a hint of sadness in it's voice and soon Nezuko realized it was her older brother

"Onii-Chan-?" Nezuko said in a confused voice as she saw the bamboo muzzle that's in her brother's mouth

Soon she heard the door open as she went into protective mode as she hugged the blacket as her older brother hugged back thru the blacket

She saw Shinobu enter the room as she hugged her older brother thru the blacket tighter

Shinobu walked into the room to check on Nezuko and Tanjiro then saw Nezuko is hugging the blanket that is covering Tanjiro

"Konichiwa~" Shinobu said as she walked towards Tanjiro and Nezuko as she hugged her older brother even tighter

"I mean no harm" shinobu said as she bend down as Nezuko sitting on the floor while hugging her older brother

"...how do I know I can trust you" Nezuko said as she didn't trust Shinobu

Tanjiro stopped hugging Nezuko as he heard Shinobu then tried to hug her as Shinobu had to check on Tanjiro multiple times so Tanjiro had trusted Shinobu after some time-

Tanjiro shrinked and got out of Nezuko's arms and went to hug Shinobu under the blanket after Shinobu closed the curtains so the sunlight doesn't burn Tanjiro into ashes

Shinobu pulled off the blacket as Tanjiro grew into his normal size and soon Tanjiro received a pat on the head from Shinobu

(Btw I skipped the trial because of Tanjiro being a demon while Nezuko was asleep or whatever cuz I don't know what to do sadly)

Nezuko didn't seem to trust Shinobu but decided to as Tanjiro always seem to know who to trust

"So... what happened while I was asleep since I probably missed a lot" Nezuko said

"There was a trial because of your brother being a demon but you were asleep as your brother didn't want to wake you up so he tried to prevent everyone from waking you up,your brother is proven to not eat human flesh" Shinobu said as she continued to pat Tanjiro on the head

"Doesn't eat human flesh?" Nezuko said in confusion as Shinobu explained what a demon was and there's demon slayers to kill the demons

Nezuko was shocked her older brother became a demon but angry at whoever killed her family and whoever turned her older brother and innocent people into demons so

"Can I maybe be possible of becoming a demon slayer" Nezuko said as her older brother came to hug her as she pat her older brother on the head

As Shinobu nodded, "Well I want to become a demon slayer so I want to train!" Nezuko said but didn't know who could train her until Shinobu said

"If you want I can train you" as Nezuko was shocked and nodded as she wanted to become a demon slayer one day to be able to defend humans and kill those demons even if they were humans once

Shinobu told the only person she knows who could possibly turned people into a demon

"Nezuko before I go, I will tell you something now" shinobu said as she looked a bit more serious

And who could have killed her family

"The only person that could possibly turn people into a demon is the demon king Muzan Kibutsuji and the only one who could have possibly killed your family" shinobu said

She stood up and walked towards the door then she heard "thank you for telling me and thank you for wanting to train me" Nezuko said as she got up

Nezuko made two promises to herself on that same day and moment

"Onii-Chan... one day I will turn you back into a human!" And that was one of the promises she made as the other one was

"Muzan Kibutsuji.... one day I will end your life for all the torture caused to have never ending suffering to us humans at night" that... that one the other promises she made as she hugged her older brother

How was chapter 1? It was shorter than the prologue but eh I can't write like almost 3000 words in every chapter

I'm sorry in advanced if any of the characters personalities are very wrong or somewhat wrong as I am possibly horrible at doing their personality qvq

Anyways I will go write chapter 2 now
