I've decided to chronicle stuff in this chapter because this series has come a long way (and is still coming some way in this platform). This is where you'll see a lot of random stuff that went on whether in this specific book or in the series.

When I first started writing, I have no idea how to make a good cover so along with this part is also a brief overview of how my graphic design skills would go

When I first started writing, I have no idea how to make a good cover so along with this part is also a brief overview of how my graphic design skills would go. Haha. You'd be surprised at how noob I am. lol.

So, let's get started!

This one was such a fail because I failed to stretch the image so now you've got really awkward white spaces on both sides

This one was such a fail because I failed to stretch the image so now you've got really awkward white spaces on both sides. It's annoying because Canva's image to background option isn't available back then so I had to manually stretch pics before I text-slapp. Well anyway, I didn't get to use this cover for long since I changed halfway in writing Books 3 and 4. Lol.

This one was by far the most chef's kiss text-slapp I made

This one was by far the most chef's kiss text-slapp I made. The picture was drawn by Miranda Meeks and I'm so luck to find that she drew so many that fit my current series. This picture is the closest to Marin and upon reading this book, you'll find that the details are so cunningly similar from the story and this picture. Did I plan it? Straight answer: NO.

And finally, this silhouette-y cover that I love, love, love so much

And finally, this silhouette-y cover that I love, love, love so much. The silhouettes are rough around the edges up close when you look at it because I'm a noob at erasing backgrounds and using fade brushes so yeah. I am now too lazy to change that that even my OCD and perfectionism have long given up. It did give me valuable lessons on how to do these covers so yeah. Salamat na lang sa lahat. xD

Yeah. This story and this book in general have been through a lot. xD I hope you are entertained by this mindless rambling that I did and I hope you move to the other books to follow Xanthy's journey. See you in the next book! :)

See you in the next book! :)
