Embarrassment.
Something we all have.
Something we all deal with.
But how do you really deal with it.
Being humiliated in front of people.
No, not the friend-posted-an-embarrassing-picture.
I'm talking about the real stuff.
Where everyone knows something.
Or at least- you think they do.
You feel like you're suffocating.
Everyone knows, and everyone is judging.
But, they really aren't.
Then comes the self-humiliation.
You can't believe you're so hung up on something.
A guy, a bad grade- anything.
Being scared.
Not wanting to go to school.
Feeling stupid.
Seeing that person and running the other way.
Begging the teacher to let you retry.
It's a scary process.
But,
After all those things wear off,
You
Can
Breath.
Take a breath.
Let it out.
It's over.
No one knows.
You were just imagining they knew.
