Fear is holding me down,

Leaning back, Jae smiles to himself tiredly. After weeks of staying at the studio and internal debates, he's finally recreated the song, and in his opinion, it's better than before.

He runs his hands over his face, his smile bright as he considers the best way for her to hear it. Lost in his daydreams, he doesn't realize his phone is ringing until it starts buzzing loudly on the desk.

He grabs it, irritated, and stands, not quite removed from his imaginary scenarios yet.

"Yeah?"

There's silence as Jae makes his way from the studio to his house, listening to a friend rant mindlessly about things that won't matter in a year.

Cutting his friend off mid-sentence right before he opens the door, he hangs up and slides his phone in his pocket. He walks to the bedroom, heart aching when he sees her asleep without him.

Jae shakes his head and walks over to her, kneeling down and gently resting his hand on her shoulder.

"Hey," he whispers, watching fondly as her eyes open slowly and she sighs tiredly. "Come with me? I want to show you something."
