From His Love

I slept and awoke early this morning
And heard Your wonderful voice speak to me
To hear the wisdom of the King of kings
Such great comfort and joy it brought to me
After hearing what You have promised
Such an assurance it is for me
I certainly do not want to miss
Everything You have planned for me
I understand that You have Your reasons
And I indeed trust You with confidence
For Your every decision and action
Stems from Your love, Lord, no matter the season
