Blackbird vanguards
strew zircon
preludes
at laggard winter.
Two dandelions
thought dead in hoodies
burst sepulchres of sepals
fuzzed out
no globes but discoloured
seed inbred
edges loosening compacted
pale
tails of sandy fawn
trembling to go.
Though desperate for wild bloom
profuse enough to drown our eyesdew honey tongues
so through and through
inhalation swoons,make do and mend.
Get by.
