It's a dark warm Friday night and every 16 year old from Davis Gregory High is at River Dawson's house, well every one except me. Instead of being at the most popular party of the year, I'm walking down the bad part of Stony Brook with a handbag and black clothing, ninja style. You may be wondering why I the beautiful and popular Jordan MacHale am tippy toeing in the shadows of these wrecked buildings. Well two words to explain why I'm in this particular situation are, Bobby Pendragon. The world's cutest guy and Davis Gregory High's basket ball foreword star player. I always loved him but Bobby never went out with anyone, he only paid attention to Courtney. Speaking of Courtney, thanks to her and Bobby's nerdy friend Mark, I know everything that's happening with Bobby. Why he missed the most important ball game of the year and why he's been missing for over a year. The police are still on Bobby's case, I would have told them the reason for his disappearance but I have no proof and the story seems fiction. The only way I even know is because a couple of weeks ago, I decided to ditch math class and was strolling down the hall way unseen until I heard voices. They weren't familiar and I just shrugged it off, but as I past them I caught a bit of the discussion and stopped dead in my tracks. They were talking about Bobby! I stood behind the wall listening. Courtney and Mark said that Bobby was a "traveller" which is someone who travels form territory to territory and saves them from an evil dude named "Saint Dane". Territory's are sort of like planets but you can't get there on a spaceship, you need to travel in a "flume" which is basically a portal through time and space. Another thing that was often mentioned was the word "Halla" which, if I understand properly it's every object, every living thing, every territory, everything that exists. The travelers are trying to save Halla. I don't understand or know everything about Bobby's special journey but what I do know is that I want to find him! They're in my range of view but I don't want Bobby and his friend to know I'm following them just yet.

After about a half an hour of walking in the suburb of Stony Brook I finally arrive at an old abandoned Subway. Bobby and his 100% muscle friend step into it, I take the chance and follow. The first thing that comes into my mind is, gross! The second thing is, I know why this place has been abandoned. The walls are a grey beige colour, with graffiti and garbage all over the place. The air is damp and smells like rotten fish. I cover my nose with my perfectly manicured hands and keep walking. The click of my 3-inch black heels, echoes through the dirty walls. The boys are talking and I hope it's loud enough to mask my steps. We get deeper into the Subway and it's getting dirtier and smellier, but then I see a strange sight.  A single pillar that, from a distance seems to be like all the others but as I get closer I see it is coated with bullet holes. I look around and catch the sight of a flipped bench and, on the wall behind it more bullet holes.

There must have had some sort of shoot off, I thought.

It's getting dark now and very difficult to see and I almost fall a series of times.

We finally arrive at our destination and how I know that, it' s because the boys have stopped. There standing on the side of the tracks, waiting to make sure a train doesn't come, I suppose. Bobby looks both ways and then steps on the tracks. I tentatively copy his movements, a little scared that at any moment I could get shredded. I'm not sure why they came here but am not going to ask them anytime soon. I can't believe they haven't noticed my presence yet. Oh, well. The later, the better. Suddenly they stop and I suck in a breath, wondering if I've been discovered but then something strange happens.

Bobby's friend puts his hand on the old dirty Subway walls and pushes. They take a step closer to the wall and disappear.  What in the world? I rush to where the guys were and look at the door. A door? That's where they went. Hmm...might as well. I think and push it open. A light gasp escapes my lips as I move toward the light. A grey, almost see through tunnel is right in front of my eyes, glowing and I see the silhouette of two people. Bobby and his friend? Must be. As I marvel at the scene, I don't notice that I'm being lifted off the ground and enveloped by light. I start to panic when I get a tingly feeling throughout my whole body. I try to get a hold on anything but there's nothing in sight. No matter what I do, I keep getting closer; like I'm tied up with rope and someone on the other side is pulling me with a lot of force. I'm powerless and decide to stop struggling and let it take me.
