He suffered pain all alone in the nightShe tried to offer him his saving light
But he rejected it in the morning cold
Turning away new dreams for scars that were old
It spread through the blood of the vein
He lay on the floor crying in pain
He tried to risk his words and call for help
But no one could listen but himself
She came for him in the dead of time
Gave him life, but his soul became mine
He was carried away as the morning winds blew
I lowered him in his place, what else could I do?
She stood alone at his stone and cried
Trying to relive the day he died
Her tears watered the ground where he lay
As she searched for the empty words to say
I dropped him when she went insane
Never to sing in her sadness again
I dropped him when she sealed her fate
And promised I'd come at a later date
Many winters had passed when I saw them again
They thought they'd make it to the end
And I had to come and ruin their joy
I ended the girl, took her away from the boy
Although this may seem ruthless to read
We've all committed one such deed
The time will come when your existence is due
And the embodiment of death will come for you

Spreading Darkness
PoetryA collection of poems designed to acknowledge the darkness inside us. NOTE- The earlier poems are not as good as the others, in my opinion . If you want deeper poetry, I suggest starting from one of the later chapters.
