Chapter 6

Maria POV

I slowly stroked Flair's hair as she lay in bed, once in awhile she would shiver or wake up but right now she was still and sleeping well, our room door opened and Nodin poked his head around the corner "how is she?" He asked, he looked like shit and was sweating "she's fine you?" I asked "just finished combat classes" he said sitting down on my bed "No!" Flair screamed sitting up, Nodin and I looked at her and she looked at us

"Don't touch me" she said as her eyes began to change again, "Maria get back" Nodin snapped before jumping on top of me as black cracks began to slid up the walls, Nodin got off me and he grabbed Flair's face, the cracks began to disappear and when i looked up she was looking at Nodin

"Nodin what's happening?" I asked but they never answered me, Nodins veins began to turn black and Flair's eyes began to grow darker before Nodin grabbed her neck and broke it, I screamed as she fell limp on the bed, he gasped and fell back onto the bed "Nodin! You killed her!" I screamed, he groaned and his eyes began to roll into the back of his head

"You can do it" he mumbled, I grabbed his hand and Flair's before focusing, "come on" I growled, burning began to spread through my body and i knew I was using my heart to pump hers and my healing to heal both of them.

Flair's POV

I opened my eyes and looked around seeing Maria and Nodin, pretty much, thrown across the room, I groaned and grabbed Maria "I knew I could do it" she giggled before passing out again, I crawled over to Nodin and touched his hand, just to have him jump up and look me straight in the eyes, "Nodin?" I have whispered, he looked at me before pulling his hand out of mine, he stood up and grabbed Maria "are you okay?" He asked

She slowly opened her eyes and smiled at him, he looked at me and frowned "you need to get yourself sorted out Flair" he snapped "you know I couldn't control it!" I snapped back, he lifted Maria and lay her on the bed "you two are too cute" she mumbled before passing out again "yes I know it was not your fault Flair but making me kill you only almost killed Maria" he growled, he looked at me and I twiddled my fingers

"I'm sorry" I said in a small voice, i looked up to see him looking at me, his gaze still hard but softer, he looked at Maria , I grabbed my shoes and left running down the stairs and outside, I breathed in a deep breath before seeing Sir Viktor Goldrivk talking to the queen, I walked forward and she looked at me a frown on her face.

"We do not tolarate murder in this college" the queen snapped as I sat in front of her "I didn't do anything, Sir Goldrivk and his son drained me of my powers, I couldnt have killed Sam even if I wanted to, he choked me until I had passed out" I explained "anyway you don't tolerate murder but when you see fit you let the students kill whomever you want gone" I said, she slowly shook her head and opened her mouth to speak before closing it "let me guess you were going to say, that situation is different but when you think about it, they're not so different" I snapped, she nodded then laughed, I looked at her shocked by the laughter "I'm so happy you're alive who else would make me laugh" she smiled hugging me

I rose my eyebrows and she kissed me lightly "you are free to go" she smiled, I stood up and nodded before walking away, that was trippy.

"Flair!" Nodin called as I walked the other way, he ran up to me and I grabbed his arm, flipping him onto the ground, he groaned before standing up "what have I said about you!-" I grabbed him and kissed him firmly, he stood frozen in place then I pulled away, I tapped his face and walked away, he stood for a moment before walking away.

"When you are fighting, don't turn away from the enemy even when they are down, because it's so simple to turn away and-" Nodin who was laying on the ground grabbed my legs and knocked me to the ground before jumping over me slamming a stake down stopping at my heart, the spike touching my breast, he looked at me before he remembered the class, he looked up at them and threw the stake at the wall, it broke through the concrete and stuck in the wall wabbling slightly "pay attention" he snapped at two students who were talking

They hissed at him and he went vampire speed knocking them over and holding them both down "talk again and I snap your fangs" he snapped again, he stood up and walked over to the class, I lay on the ground and breathed heavily before slowly sitting up "you okay?" He asked pulling me to my feet

"Yeah I'm great" I said sarcastically "sarcasm" he said "wow you're getting better at this" I smiled, he glared at me before I smiled slightly "snappy teach today guy!" I laughed, he grabbed me before flipping me and kneeling on my stomach "that is for earlier" he said, I scrunched my face up at him "you wanna show me some other moves?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows, he looked at me before standing up and walking away "pay attention!" I shouted before grabbing his legs and climbing ontop of him slammbing the stake down to his chest.

He breathed out and his mouth was in a straight line. The class passed quickly and soon it was Nodin and I left still fighting, I grabbed his arm and he grabbed mine, so our stakes couldn't come down on each others chests, we pushed against each others strength then I wrapped my legs around his waist, he froze slightly before his hand released my arm and I bought the stake down

"That doesn't count, you played with my manly urges" he said as I got off him "that's what females are best for" I smiled, he frowned and grabbed me around the waist before looking at me "it counts, because thats a way to throw a guy off when fighting" I said my face close to his, I pulled out of his grip and he walked with me.

I walked to my dorm room and glanced back to see Nodin turn the corner, i bit my lip and slowly walked into my room, he was fast to catch the door and look at me, "class isn't over, you get a break then you come straight back to me" he smiled "okay, mr pushy" i rolled my eyes and he pushed the door opened fully before cupping my face in his hands

"dont roll your eyes at me" he growled, i huffed and grabbed his hands, he stared at me for a moment and slowly began to lean closer, i gasped and he froze in place, he moved his hands and put my hands down at his waist "starting to use that power there" he whispered, he grabbed my neck this time before leaning in, he was going so slow, couldn't he just kiss me already, he pulled my body closer with his free hand making me huff out air

His fingertips stroked my jaw before his hand ran into my hair, before his lips pressed to mine "Finally!" someone shouted, Maria! why was here, Nodin pulled away quickly and stood away from me "dont stop i'm leaving now anyway" she smiled, she tickled me playfully causing me to fall into Nodin, he caught me, obviously

"she looks great naked" maria called as she walked out the room "i'm going to kill her" i growled, standing up straight and grabbing the door, Nodin grabbed me and spun me around, so i was pressed to his chest, i breathed loudly and looked up at him, he stared down at me and moved my hair out of my face "what are you doing to me My flair" he whispered "being me?" i choked out "no it's something else" he whispered stroking my cheek before pulling away, "time for class" he said leaving the dorm room, leaving me standing all hot and bothered also kind of confused.

I lay on the ground, exshaution taking over my body, Nodin sat in a far corner that faced me and took a drink from a blue container, blood, A positive "you want some?" he asked, i lay on the floor, too tired to speak, move even think properly, he walked over and kneeled beside my head, he lifted my head and began pouring the cold blood into my mouth

When he was done feeding me like a child, he scooped me into his arms "you should have told me Flair" his whispered, his voice vibrating inside his chest, i closed my eyes and sighed to myself "sorry" i whispered, "oh my flair how you make me smile" he laughed as he carried me to my dorms "i dont like this flair she's too quite for me".
