after a while I walked outside and then my phone chimed. I smiled at the contact and answered it.
"𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚" he said "hi nik" "𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤?" he asked "well, I'm at a masquerade ball and came out to have fresh air" I said "𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙄'𝙢 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨" he said "and that is?" I could have been katherine" she said as I put my phone away and turned around facing her "I know the both of you enough to know who is who, plus I could smell you're blood a mile away" I said giving her a 'please go away' look "you know- CAROLINE!" was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
