11. It's A Yes, It's A No. Which is which?

KYAAAAA! gulong-gulo na ko since that day na nag-usap kami ni Jiro..Hindi ako makatulog, naguguluhan ako sa magiging desisyon ko. What should I do? What should I say? What should I choose?

"Atasha I'm serious. Give him a chance. Walang masama kung susubukan mo."

 

"But..."

"No buts, dear. Nobody ever wants to grow up alone. We all need someone we can all hold on to."

"I'm afraid.. Hindi ko alam. I'm not sure. What if hindi mag-work. Edi masasaktan na naman ako? Makakasakit na naman ako?"

 

 

"Kaya nga susubukan mo. How will you know kung hindi mo ita-try. Sige na, subukan mo na. Don't hold back. Give him a chance."

"But Art.. What about him?"

"Wake up girl. He's long gone. And I'm sure if he's still alive, he would want you to be happy in this lifetime."

Nang matapos ang pag-uusap namin ni Jiro asking me about that surprised proposal, dumiretso na ako sa hospital for my duty. Ni hindi nga ako nakapagconcentrate thinking about everything he told me.

Kaya naman I called up Katy to ask for her opinion because I cannot think straight. I cannot focus. Mali ba ako or tama that I consulted her. She told me the same thing Jill advised me.

But all I'm thinking of is Art... Although he's long gone, parang cheating pa din ang tingin ko if I entertain Jiro or any other guy..

Ahhhh naguguluhan na talaga ako!!! This is like take it or leave it...life and death.

For the past 1 week na hindi ko pinuntahan or kinontak man lang si Sasa, I just realized more things. 1st, love can wait but not in our case, 2nd is we're old enough to know what's best for us, 3rd is I love her so much that I cannot let go.

I'm not selfish but I have to challenge her or give her options to prioritize things. We're old enough. Hindi na kami bata para maglaro. I'm serious, I love her and I want us to be together.

I know mahirap para sa kanya ang hinhiling ko but I guess I have points. Pakiramdam ko ayos naman kami sa kanya, sabi nga ni Katy feeling niya ay attracted din sakin si Sasa which rarely happens for any guy na gustong mapalapit sa kanya. It's just the past that's holding her back.
