"The hell is he doing?" Ham asked
"I don't believe this." Scotty puts the ball in Kenny's glove
"Here. Sorry. Sorry." Scotty says and runs back to his spot
"Oh scotty." You whisper under your breath feeling bad for your cousin as everyone is silent for a moment and benny runs over to him
"You can throw it, you know." Benny tells him and smalls takes his hat off
"Even his girlfriend is better than him." Yeah- yeah says under his breath but you still heard it.
"I'm not his girlfriend, He is my cousin cousin." You say for all the boys except benny and smalls to hear
And all the boys except benny and smalls look at Timmy because he put the idea of you beings smalls girlfriend in their heads and he put his hands up in defence
"Thanks for taking me and y/n but I think I'd better go." Smalls says and benny stops him
"Hey, hey. You think to much. I bet you get straight A's and shut, huh?"
"No, I got a 'B' once. Actually, it was an A-minus, but it should've been a 'B'." Smalls explains.
"Man, this is Baseball. You gotta stop thinking. You just have fun. I mean if you were having fun, you would've caught that ball." There was silence between them
"You ever have a paper route?" Benny asked
"I helped a guy once" Scotty says
"Okay. Well, Chuck it like you would throw a paper. When your arm gets here, just let go. Just let go. it's that easy" Benny explains and was about to walk away.
"H-how do I catch it?"
"Just stand there and stick your glove out in the air. I'll take care of it." Benny runs back to his spot
"About time, Benny. My clothes are going out of style." Squints complains.
"They already are, squints." You and Yeah-Yeah say in unison.
"Shut up!" Squints says to you both.
"I told you, Benny." Ham says and tosses the ball to Benny
"Smalls, throw it to second." Benny shouts to smalls
"Okay." Smalls says putting his hand up
And Bertram groans
"Not again." Squints complains
