Merida & Teal

Chapter 7

When it was almost nighttime, Merida went towards her wardrobe and grabbed her bag to bring stuff with her, she went to her desk and grabbed her journal and pencil and put them both in her bag and her clothes. When she was done with that she was worried about her kingdom but she was more worried about teal because she doesn't know what to do, she has two things going on her mind, one to summon teal with her horn or two go in the woods to tell him what's going on.

But right now she needs to prepare herself for tonight's battle. She grabbed her bag, bow, and arrows and put them over her shoulder. She walked out of her room and went downstairs seeing a lot of guards getting ready for battle, she walked outside going to see Angus but he wasn't there, she was worried but before she could look for him there was a big fireball heading towards the palace." WERE BEING ATTACKED!!!" the guard said all the villagers were screaming Merida went up to the tower to look outside to see what was going on.

When she got up there she saw five ships and a lot of Viking warriors heading straight to the palace, she had no choice but to blow her horn to call teal. So she got out her horn and blew it.

~Meanwhile~

Teal heard the horn he got up and flew straight to the sound when he got there, there was fire and people screaming all over the place he was trying to find Merida. When he heard the horn again he saw Merida on the tallest tower of the castle." Over here, boy!!" Merida said shouting out to teal, teal flew towards her he landed in front of her. Merida ran towards him." Come on boy. We have to find my family!?" she said while hopping on teal's back, teal flew up into the air.

When teal and Merida were in the air Merida was looking around for her family but someone shouted." Fire!!!" she looked up and saw a lot of fireballs hitting the castle then it crumbled down hard to the ground, Merida was shocked" NOOOO!!!" she screamed seeing her castle on fire all over, she turned around and saw their leader with the smirk on his face.

Merida's blood was boiling with anger and hatred but that didn't matter right now." Come on boy. Let's get out of here." she said sadly while tears were coming out of her eyes, they were flying through the clouds. Merida was taking them both to the place where the witches cottage was destroyed, when they got there teal landed and Merida got off of his back and sat down on a rock she sobbed with both hands on her face.

Teal looked at her with sad eyes he walked up towards Merida and nudged her at his side, Merida looked up and saw teal's face she rubbed her head." It's ok, boy, I'll sort this out tomorrow morning... To go back and to check to see if my supplies have survived... And then ye and I have to leave this place to find a new island that ye and I can live at and be safe, have new adventures, and properly find new allies." she said still upset till she heard a thunderstorm, it start raining Merida put her hood on and laid down, teal joined her, he laid down next to Merida while putting his tail over her. Merida passed asleep while flashback hearing her mother's faint singing.

Merida's Dream

Little Merida was playing with her wooden toys while listening to her mother's singing till she gasped hearing a loud crack of thunder. She screamed while going under the tapestry." oh.'' her mother said while pulling the tapestry over and looking at Merida." My brave wee lassie. I'm here." her mother said, putting her hand over Merida's hair, smiling." I'll always be right here." her mother said. Merida smiled at her while hugging her mother, her mother continued singing in Gaelic then they both sang.

When it was morning Merida heard a sniff

she opened her eyes slowly and saw teal in front of her face nudging her, she yawned while getting up taking off her hood and looking at teal she smiled and rubbed teal's forehead." Good morning, boy." she said softly teal nudged her hand while Merida put her other hand on teal's cheek.

Then she figured out that she still needs to go back and get her supplies if they survived or not." Come on, boy. We need to get back to the castle to pick up some supplies." she said walking towards him and hopping on teal's back. Teal flew up in the air.

When they got there the whole area was destroyed and the Vikings were gone, Merida was horrified and sad to see her entire kingdom destroyed and her people including her family dead. She and teal landed in front of the broken door. Merida went inside teal was right beside her and Merida walked through the hallway heading straight to the throne room, when she went in she saw a lot of bodies but she couldn't find her family's bodies anywhere including her little brothers.

She walked up to the crumbling stairs and head straight to her broken door she went into her dusty room and saw a lot of her stuff on the ground, she was wondering how to carry all the stuff that have survived she went up to her broken window and spotted something at the ocean dock there was a boat and some wagons down at the docks. She hopped on teal's back, and teal hummed at Merida." Let's get to the docks, boy." she commanded nicely.

They got out of the tore down castle and headed straight to the docks. When they got there Merida hopped off of teals back, she looked in on every wagon they all have extra stuff that she needs there was, three box chest

filled with gold, a dark brown wood bed frame with four posters with sheets, pillows, and blanket, clothes, and her new clothes, swords, bows and arrows, books, food, a net full of fish, pans, plates, bowls, cups, forks, spoons, knives, pods, carpet, journals, feather pens and pencil and paintbrushes and paint, black fireplace log rack firewood holder wrought Iron Indoor wood storage heavy duty log rack holder firewood carrier, fireplace tools set wrought Iron fireplace accessories tools holder with handles tools for Indoor fireplace decor outdoor fire pit modern tool poker tongs shovel brush wood stove hearth black, woods, curtains, and lot more stuff.

Merida was happy to have extra stuff but still upset about her kingdom, her family, and her village. But right now she needs to put all of the supplies on the boat." Alright, boy. It's time to go. But first I need to put all the supplies on the boat." she said, teal growls at her while relaxing on the ground to wait when Merida is done putting stuff on the boat.

Merida got started grabbing stuff out of the wagons. When it was almost sunset she put three last chest boxes on the boat. Then she went back to her broken room seeing most of her stuff survived so she grabbed each one of them putting them on the wagon including the stuff she asked the people to make for her at the market. Once she was done she put them on the boat. When that was done she walked towards teal." Hey, boy. Wake up." she said, teal groaned while opening his eyes and stretching himself, he stood up and walked up to Merida." It's time to go, boy." she said, teal hummed. Merida and teal got on the boat.

Merida sailed away from the docks, teal was at the front of the boat resting. When it was nighttime, they were heading straight in the fog, Merida couldn't see a thing till she heard a noise she looked up and saw the will o'the wisp, Merida was shocked at first but followed it while she was following it there were more of them leading her on a trail.
