Author notes. Calling these side chapters. These chapters do not progress the plot but simply show a different point of view then from the main group. They will also introduce new characters or Pokémon that will be important to the plot. Enjoy!
"So what did you end up doing at the Pokémon school?" Bianca asks
"I-well" Cheren cleared his throat

Cheren walked along the streets of Striaton as he waved goodbye to his group of friends. He knew where he was going. He came across the building he was looking for and read the big sign across it 'Pokemon school open house. New and beginning trainers welcome'
Cheren carefully opened the doors to the building. And looked around. The walls were golden yellow with desks lining the classroom and book shelves on either side. Light shown through the windows with white curtains. There were many trainers kids and even parents there. Though luckily it wasn't fully packed. He walked around a bit. Listening in on some conversations. Trainers were exchanging info on gym leaders and even battle strategies
"Yeah the gym leaders won't be back until tomorrow"
"I hear they test trainers differently like no other"
"That's probably why there's three of them"
"Hm. It definitely wasn't a mistake coming here" Cheren says and continued to scale the building. He made it up to the classroom chalkboard where notes were written out. Trainer tips. He tilted his head up and read them carefully. One trainer tip was about berries. And how they were the best possible way for a Pokémon to gain its energy back. They were even allowed inside battle. While official league rules stated that medical items like revives and potions were band during battle. A pokemon eating a berry is not "huh. I guess Madison carrying around those berries all the time isn't a waste" Cheren says to himself
"Yeah! Berries are super useful! I use sitrus berries all the time!" Cheren would suddenly be surprised and greeted by a dark skinned girl with white hair in a jacket. She looked very spunky and a sparkle in her eyes for adventure.

Something he would recognize from being around Bianca and Madison so much. Lots of trainers had that sparkle in their eyes. He wondered if he could be seen with it too, from his friends.
"Uhh yeah sure" Cheren says simply calming himself from the sudden startle the girl gave him "sorry for scaring you! You don't go to the Pokémon school do you?" The girl giggles
"Uhh-no" Cheren shook his head "I'm a new trainer and I came here to learn more information on the first gym" he explains
"Ahhh Cilan Chilli and Cress" the girl says before her eyes widen "ah-I never introduced myself! Sorry! I'm Uki" she says gently
"Cheren" He says simply and holds out his hand. Uki gently took it in a shake "nice to meet you Cheren. So you wanna challenge the striaton gym? Good luck. Here I'll show you something" Uki reached into her pocket and pulled out a pin with three different colours on it going down in diamond shaped while the outline was a golden colour "this is the badge you earn" she smiled proudly
