Meet Again

   She turned around quickly but he was locking the door,

"What are you doing", she ran to his side, open that door now, he held her tightly,

"Open this door now", she yelled,

"You can try all you want, but I am not opening this door until I achieve what I came here for", he replied adamantly,

"What are you here for, look you do not have any right to step in to this room, leave now", she said,

"Didn't you hear what I said", he growled silently which frightened her,

He took a deep breath, "I want us to talk", he was calmer now,

"There is nothing to talk about" she said,

"That is not true, we have a lot to talk about," he responded,

She sat on the edge of the sofa looking away from him,

"You have been pretending, from the first day I came here, you make me feel as if I am invisible or something, you don't talk to me or even acknowledge my presence",

"Seriously I don't want to talk", she said,

"But you will, okay, I know you are very angry with me, I know the reason, I want us to clear this, and move on',

"I am doing just fine", she hissed,

He ignored her,"I should never have left like that without telling you, but I feel that whatever you are feeling is more deeper than my mere leaving',

"Did you just say mere, do you think leaving me like that is a small thing, I guess it is for you, right?'

"It wasn't a small thing for me to do, but I had other plans, I had to pursue my business dreams", he said staring into her eyes,

"Yes, I was just an obstacle to you right, actually I meant nothing to you", her eyes was on the brink of tears,

"No, you are my greatest achievement, but I still had a life to leave",

"No, I get it now, I get that you also have a life aside from mine, but did you think it was right to go pursue your dreams like that, we were together, you could not even tell me before hand, and even after you left you didn't see it fit to inform me, I can't even complain now because I always knew you as a liar even behind your good boy mask", she spat,

"That is not true, the day I left I contacted you, you never answered, for months even after I left I still tried to get in touch with you, and my leaving was so sudden, I didn't even have anytime to prepare or inform you, my uncle just came one morning and I soon found my self living in another state, but believe me, I asked about you but no one seemed to know anything, God I was frustrated", he said,

"Well it doesn't matter now, I hope we are done with this conversation", she said drying her tears stained eyes,

"I have a question though about your son Fred", Jacob said,

"There is nothing to talk about him", she cut him off,

"There is always something to talk about, he replied adamantly, Fred he is a little child, and Alex, how?"

"How what? What is your question, Fred is a child, and Alex is his father, did you think I would spend my entire life waiting for you, you have moved on so have I",

Jacob nodded otherwise, Sophia made her way to the door, looking once at him she left, tears were already falling,

What am I going to do? She asked herself.
